I think we can all agree that Predator was a great movie. But it’s myriad sequels were … well … lacking some of the original’s qualities. After owning and enjoying Wismec’s Predator mod this year, we’re hoping its internal-battery lookalike, the Wismec Sinuous FJ200, doesn’t follow suit.
Thankfully, after spending a few minutes with the Sinuous, all signs are pointing to a reliable, high-powered, convenient box mod with a basic tank thrown in the package for good measure.
First off, let’s address the obvious – the Sinuous FJ200 is a near carbon copy of the Predator, right down to the slightly recessed fire bar, and the overall look and feel. The color schemes are also similar, with black, red, blue and bronze options that only further link the two devices.
(For the movie buffs out there, my red and stainless test model not only resembles the Predator, but also shares more than a few qualities with Iron Man.)
But the Sinuous FJ200 has one key difference – the 4,600mAh internal battery that can power atomizers up to 200 watts – a mere 28 fewer watts than its external battery predecessor. Along with a high-powered internal battery, the Sinuous FJ200 also has all-new temperature protection built in, which we’ll run through more thoroughly in our upcoming review.
The 1.3-inch display is very similar to the Predator, though the slightly larger screen makes it seem more spread out and legible. Wismec introduced the hexagon design last year, and it has proven to be an effective, efficient way to display information regardless of screen size. Of course, we’ll make sure the Sinuous functions as effortlessly as those mods.

Also included in this package is the new Divider sub-ohm tank, which has 2 and 4mL configurations, and uses the WS vertical coil series, with a broad rating of 40-120 watts. The box includes a pair of these (presumably Kanthal) triple coils, coming in at 0.2 and 0.25 ohms, respectively. We’re not sure how much of a difference .05 ohms will make between triple coil heads, but we trust Wismec has a reason here. The tank also features a standard bottom airflow control system and another take on the hinged top-fill system.
Our first take on the Divider? A little underwhelming. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the tank, and it certainly matches nicely with the look and feel of the Sinuous-FJ200. But the snug capacity and lack of anything unique has us thinking the Divider will be another run-of-the-mill tank. Of course, it all comes down to the coils and the quality of the vape, so we’re hoping to be wrong come review time.
Overall, the Sinuous-FJ200 is an intriguing package that should shake up the resurgent high-powered, internal battery mod market. Our early impressions are solid, and after a few days of heavy testing both the mod and the tank, we’ll be back with a thorough breakdown of Wismec’s latest.
