Rule 42

 Vaping with Vapinski

First off, I hope you’ve all had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! It’s been a VERY busy time of year for me, but it’s back to business!!

I wanted to start the New Year off with something amazing and something that matters. This whole industry should be focused on HELPING people. It’s my greatest joy and what I get out of my career. I truly enjoy sharing my views on eliquid flavors as well, especially since I have a culinary background and really enjoy getting Vapers into the flavor aspect of vaping. We really TASTE at my shop.

I go by my customer’s palate and it’s much like a winery and wine tasting here at times. I have spent a year in coming up with a perfect blend of vendors and flavors to stock, and I’m almost there. Finding a flavor can be KEY in your success from analogs to vaping. Good flavors also prevent you from getting BORED…trust me, I know! I’m surrounded by eliquid 24/7 and I wouldn’t change a thing, but sometimes even my favorites get old. I am always in need of something exciting!

I have had the opportunity over the last year to meet and speak with some of the most talented people in the industry. I have just been blessed. They continually produce great eliquids and now some have gone one step further!!

This line is one I am extremely excited to tell the world about!! That is, if you haven’t already heard about it. Several of the most talented vendors in this industry have come together to do something that truly matters. Rule 42 is an eLiquid with a cause. Proceeds from every bottle sold are donated back to the recovery community to help those affected by addiction to find a solution.

I’ve talked to both Stephen Sapir from Beantown Vapor via messenger and Brett Weiss from Mojo Vapor via phone about this line prior to its big launch. They are two amazing guys in the industry who wanted to make a difference in this world. I know Stephen personally suffered a loss when his best friend of 25 years passed away from substance abuse. Brett mentioned that he noticed a lot of people from the recovery world turning to vaping. He was especially touched by a young man who had had many strikes in life against him. Sometimes when you have these strikes, it can be hard to get back on the right path unless you have the right guidance or help.

I personally have family members that struggle with this no matter what help you try to give. Rule 42 is not only a super line of eliquids, but also a nice support group of individuals who know what it takes to SURVIVE. As most eliquid companies do, they form a group on Facebook. This is one group I truly enjoy reading the success stories when I have an extra minute or two. They are real people sharing real life stories who are coming together from all across the country through an eliquid line!!! When Brett sends out a group message to shop owners who carry the line, I’ll even say a quick “HI” from PA. I couldn’t be more proud to be part of this cause and to help spread the word!!

The other vendors involved are Kevin Kirkpatrick from Sicboy Industries, Joseph Cotto from Cotto’s Revenge, Shane Johnson from Fuzion Vapor, and Punk Vapors. These are all solid guys with solid companies putting their super talent towards an amazing cause. Each quarter the proceeds go to a different charitable organization or family of someone affected by substance abuse. “Rule 42 means different things to different people. It’s flexible, it adapts, and it is open to interpretation. Some claim that it is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and to everything. To others, it’s about staying true to yourself and questioning authority. Whatever Rule 42 really means is up to you….

Now, let’s go ahead and take a look at these five tasty flavors!

“Warm, light pastry, filled with sweet milk icing and coated with fruity crunch berry cereal. You won’t be able to get enough. 70vg/30pg”

Beantown Vapor has always been a top-notch vendor and the flavor that they added to the Rule 42 is no exception. If you like those delicious treats that they served at that taco heaven place most of us frequent at one time or another, you will thoroughly enjoy this eliquid!! On the inhale, I can taste the sweet milk and the lovely crunch berry flavoring mixed into it. I also get a light pastry undertone that blends in right before the exhale. The exhale is a nice, smooth blend of all the flavors and will please many different palates from fruity to dessert lovers. There is a mild throat hit and great vapor production with Beanbags. I’ll be using my HexOhm V2 and a Hannya RDA with a .3-ohm coil build for these reviews. I enjoyed Beanbags around 45-50 watts the best.

“A tasty blend of caramelized peaches and pears with a dollop of creamy goodness. 70vg/30pg”

Sicboy is another big name in the industry that added a delicious fruity vape to the Rule 42 line. TheirRule 42 – Vaping with Vapinski AT SPINFUEL EMAGAZINE caramelized peach and pear blend has my taste buds tingling…in a good way! On the inhale, I taste a nice blend of peaches and pears, but it’s different. The caramelazation of the fruits really kicks up the flavor a couple notches. The cream adds a bit of smoothness to the blend and the flavor flows right through into the exhale. The throat hit is mild and vapor production is great! Again, this blend will please many palates…. not just those who love fruit and dessert vapes! I enjoyed this best between 50-60 watts.

“Dolce de Leche with just the right zing of Blackberry. Fruity and creamy, but not too sweet. It’ll leave your taste buds wanting more. 75vg/25pg”

EL-JEFEMojo Vapor and Punk Vapors have combined blackberries and a delicious caramel blend to add to the Rule 42 line. On the inhale of El Jefe, I taste a nice sweetness from the caramel with a blackberry undertone. The blackberry flavor seems to heighten at the exhale and then blend in again with the caramel and cream flavor on the exhale. The flavors are well blended and there is a nice, not overly sweet smoothness to this unique flavor. There was a medium throat hit and great vapor production with El Jefe. I enjoyed it best around 40-50 watts.

“A light and smooth tobacco flavor done with a unique splash of apricot and bakery goodness. This new take on tobacco will leave you smiling from ear to ear. 90vg/10pg”

Cotto’s Revenge has added a tobacco blend to the Rule 42 line, and Plunder is another masterful blend. On the inhale, I get that bakery goodness with the apricot zing and the tobacco is just an undertone that adds a nice richness to the flavor. On the exhale, all of the flavors truly come together in a delicious smoothness. I think the word “tobacco” may steer some people from not trying this flavor, but many may be surprised at the great taste of Plunder. If you like apricots and dessert vapes, you should give this one a whirl!! I enjoyed it best around 50 watts. The throat hit is mild and the vapor production is excellent.

“Rich lemon frosting. Sweet and zesty, just like Mama used to make. 85vg/15pg”

Fuzion Vapor has added a yummy lemon flavored eliquid to the Rule 42 line up. On the inhale, a smooth lemon flavor that is slightly sweet. There is a bit of a zing from the lemon that hits prior to the exhale, and the zest rides into the exhale as the other flavors swirl into the blend again. The exhale has that bit of sweetness enter back into the blend and round out the zest of the frosting. If you enjoy lemon vapes, this will be right up your alley!! The throat hit is medium and the vapor production is great! I enjoyed this best around 40 watts.

These are five tasty flavors that are sure to please a variety of palates, AND they are for a GREAT cause. Thus far, a portion of the proceeds is going to the following organizations: Heald Hearts Organization, 12 Keys Best Rehab Center, Not My Kid, and the Eric M. Kuchinski Foundation.
