Vaping This Week
Wow, another week that just seemed to ZOOM by my vaping universe! I can’t believe it’s Friday already. Not a lot to write about for this “Vaping with Julia” column, but I just can’t skip it you know?
This month we were supposed to publish 4 to 6 eLiquid reviews but managed to publish just 1. (Vaporetti). Things like delays in getting the eLiquids to home steeping of some that did arrive, we just could not pull it together fast enough. Not only that, but the Vaporetti review was written at the end of last November so all we had to do is assemble our old notes and punch it up a little. The Interview, however, is fresh off the press.
On the vaping front this week it has been all about mixing it up. I’ve been reviewing a couple of new PV’s, including a most gorgeous ZMAX Rev 2 in Red Brass, and something called Anytime CVI, which is both Variable Voltage and Variable Wattage. Feature-for-feature it is very close to the Joyetech eVic, and at $51.95 at MyVaporStore (currently sold out), it is one heck of a bargain. The review for both is expected to publish next week.
I’m also into reviewing the new Kanger MT-3’s, which have the same rubberized paintjobs on metal tubes over a plastic tube like the STV Vivi’s. That review is coming as well, but if you like the Kanger T-3’s with the bottom coil magic, well, you know.
So I had a lot of hardware in my hands this week and to do a review properly you just have to run a bunch of different eJuice through them. So that’s what I did.
Out of my personal collection I’ve been vaping these flavors:
From Ginger’s eJuice (always a pleaser!) there was Blueberry Streusel, Vanilla Sunrise, and one that John turned me onto, Cinnamon Candy.
From The Plume Room my private collection includes Candied Cavendish and Caramel Cappuccino. Awesome stuff.
From Mountain Oak Vapors I snagged a bottle of White Leaf from John and I’ve been hoarding it for a while. This was the week I vaped that one like crazy.
The eLiquids that we are now working on for reviews are Mister e-Liquid, Mt Baker Vapor (a sequel), and The Vapor Girl (a sequel), to name a few. There are many many flavors to deal with and the team is having a great time with them.
