The S-Body VapeDroid C3D1 DNA250 TC Box Mod promises to deliver a real DNA250 vape experience, wrapped in an ergonomic chassis that, from the photos at least, has captured my imagination as one of, if not, the, most beautiful DNA boxes I’ve ever seen. And that is saying something, since my favorite boxes are from the like of Lost Vape, including its latest it’s Paranormal, DNA75C and DNA167.
The VapeDroid, I’m hoping, will make perfect mod for my collection of Uwell Valyrian sub-ohm tanks. I still like my SMOK TFV8 and TFV12 tanks, but for some reason, the Valyrian is just perfect for me and my style of vaping. Great, intense flavor, clouds that produce some shock and awe. Anyway, I purchased this mod FOR my Valyrian, and when it’s time for the review, I’ll definitely let you know if I made the right choice.
The VapeDroid is available is Black, Blue, Red, Gold, and a Wood finish. I had difficulty choosing the color, but ultimately went with the Gold one. If the shade of gold is true to the manufacture photos, then this was the right choice for colors.
About the S-Body VapeDroid C3D1
The S-Body VapeDroid C3D1 DNA250 TC Box Mod has at its heart the Evolv DNA250 chipset and it is powered by 3x 18650 cells. I use 3100mAh 35A Nitecore’s exclusively now. Highly recommended!
The chassis of the S-Body C3D1 has a soft curvature surrounding the device, with anti-slip grip panels that are interchangeable. However, while interchangeable panels would give us the opportunity to vary the look to capture our mood, I’ve seen nothing yet about actually buying other panels separately.
The ergonomic design promises to rest the VapeDroid comfortably in the palm of the user. The S-Body C3D1’s Evolv’s DNA250 is the chipset that delivers a 97% output efficiency rating, plus tremendous range from 1 to 250 watts, full temperature control with all the popular of heating elements, and last but not least, the Mac and PC software called Escribe, for building truly customizable and upgradeable output capability to vape the user’s needs.
As I’ve said time and again, I never did behind Temperature Control technology because of the failure to create true, fidelity for all eliquid flavors. While stainless steel is getting better, I’m still very much a Kanthal man. I know most people desire the DNA chip for its ability to handle TC modes with ease, for me the DNA chipset is all about durability and reliability. Even since my first DNA30, no DNA Mod has ever failed.
I am expecting the VapeDroid C3D1 in the next day or two. I’ll spend one week with it and present an in-depth, no-holds-barred Review. If I like as much as I hope I do, I’ll tell you, and if I wasted $130 I’ll let you know that as well.
Now, admittedly, I had hoped my next DNA250 mod was going to be a Full Color model, like the DNA75C, but I have a feeling that power efficiency and battery life isn’t where Evolv wants it to be…yet. Someday perhaps, someday…
Stay Tuned…
