Joyetech eGo AIO (All-In-One)
If you’ve been around the block as a vaper, do not think the eGo AIO is a remix of the eGo One, because it is a very different device. The eGo AIO is a new all-in-one ‘batter and+tank,’ device (a distant cousin of the eGrip perhaps) with a coil head first seen in the Cubis Tank. It instantly reminded me of a small dry herb vaporizer, with its sleek looks and sculpted grip.
The petite eGo AIO offers more bang for the buck than anything Joyetech has ever released before. Even for advanced vapers, if you’re looking for something to use while in closed places, or the bedroom, living room, and other places people hang out, the eGo AIO can be a lifesaver.
But How Does it Vape?
The eGo AIO rocks the vape, hard, and its small footprint hides its big performance capabilities. Yea, I’m excited about Joyetech’s newest vaporizer. With its 1500mAh built-in battery, coil resistance down to 0.5-ohm (using the half-ohm coil from a Cubis) for sub-ohm vaping (15-28-watts), SS316 coils, and 2mL of eliquid capacity, these little guys output great flavor and vapor, and for on a night on the town, or a party, or the office, or running errands, the eGo AIO is extraordinarily easy to conceal and to use.
The wide array of color combinations is gorgeous as well; white with black accents… or black with grey accents, red with white accents, silver, or simply matte black, these beauties are nearly as much fun to look at as they are to use. For about twenty-five bucks (MSRP) you just might want one of each…for starters.
The eGo AIO is loaded with some unique features too. Some of them are important, some are just fun, but how they crammed in all the features and kept the cost to under $25 is remarkable.
Feature Highlights
Special Drip Tip
At first glance, the Delrin drip tip looks like many other drip tips we’ve seen on Joyetech devices. Except, unlike those drip tips, the eGo AIO drip tip has these ‘spirals’ inside that offer terrific protection against spit-back. And because of the way the vapor has to sort of twirl up those spirals, when they come out the vapor is a little thicker, a little tastier, and plenty of it.
Childproof Locking Top Cap
Using the eGo AIO is as simple as attaching a coil head, filling (to the laser mark) the cup like tank to the fill line with eliquid, screwing in the top cap, pressing the fire button, and vape. Like the Cubis tank, the tank built into the eGo AIO is a glass leak-proof cup-style container. The atomizer comes down into the eliquid from the top cap, making the eGo AIO as easy to fill as the now-famous…yep… Cubis tank. But Joyetech has gone one better; beginning with the eGo AIO, the top cap works like the child safety caps on medicine bottles. You will have to push down on the cap and twist to release it. It is a brilliant innovation, and one you’ll learn to love, especially if you have kids.
LED Lights
In John’s video you can see how the eGo AIO lights up when he pressures the firing button. That light can serve to alert you to the amount of eliquid you have remaining, in the dark if need be, but it can also show as one of seven colors. You can set it and forget it, or have fun with it and change the color of the light whenever you get the urge. The LED light is a fun and frilly extra, but what’s wrong with a little fun?
To change the color of the LED lights, or turn off the light completely, turn the AIO off, press and hold the fire button until the light come back on. Cycle to the color you like, or stop when the light goes out, and back out of it.
Airflow Control
Also like the Cubis tank the eGo AIO offers an effective, hidden airflow control system. For maximum airflow simply line up the 2 small laser dots on the top cap and it will experience the most airflow possible. This is especially important is you decide that you want to pick up an eGo AIO and use it as a Lung Hit device. The Cubis comes with a coil head rated at 0.5-ohm, but more importantly it was designed for lung hit vaping. All you need to do is use that coil in the eGo AIO and you’re ready for lung hits.
Mouth to Lung and Lung Hit Vape Styles
The two coil heads you’ll get with the eGo AIO are 0.6-ohm SS316 Stainless Steel coils that do not have a stiff pull like the 1.0/1.5-ohm Cubis mouth to lung coil heads, but they are not built for lung hit vaping either. That said, as a lung hit vaper I can, and do, get smallish lung hits with the standard .6-ohm coils the AIO comes with. Not as good as the 0.5-ohm Cubis coil, but it’s okay. Truth is, the eGo AIO is built for new vapers making the transition to vaping, and the majority of these users practice mouth to lung smoking and vaping.
eGo One v eGo AIO – $65 vs $25
The eGo ONE, last year’s major success from Joyetech (but certainly not its only major success) sold for $65, and everyone thought the price was surprisingly low. Today, with the eGo AIO, you’ll get an even easier to use device at a third of the cost of 2015’s eGo ONE.

- Please don’t overfill beyond the max mark to avoid overflowing the eliquid when you reinsert the atomizer.
- Drip a few drops of your favorite e-juice into the atomizer head before firing the device in order to avoid a dry burn.
Atomizer Head Replacement: Press the childproof cap down and unscrew the atomizer cap to remove the atomizer head is located on the cap, replace the coil with a fresh one and reattach and close.
Turn off or change the indicator light color: In power-off position, press the fire button until the indicator light comes on, (about 5-6 full seconds) then press the button to change the color to Red, yellow, green, blue, indigo, white, purple or to shut off the light completely.
Adjustment of airflow: Rotating the ring on the atomizer clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the air flow. As I mentioned above, aligning the two little laser dots on the cap and body will put the airflow into its widest position.
Real World Usage
The eGo AIO is what it is; a small vaporizer that is truly easy to use and maintain. The flavor from the coil head is every bit as good as the Cubis tank, and the vapor production is far better than you might think. If you vape with the mouth to lung style you’ll be amazed at what this thing can do. If you usually lung hit to vape I recommend the .5-old Cubis coil head for some fun lung hit vaping.
I used both the .6-ohm and .5-ohm for both styles of vaping and although I want to lung hit every device I have, using the mouth to lung .6-ohm coil head provided some delightful vaping, and made Kiera especially happy in the evening. No more fogging up the bedroom!
I enjoyed the flavor of the .6-ohm coil, and although the vapor production doesn’t come close to my larger, sub-ohm coil heads and 60watts of power, I was able to vape in mixed company without annoying anyone.
Conclusion
The Joyetech AIO (all-in-one) is an inexpensive but effective and fun vaporizer geared toward new vapers or current smokers. However, even experienced vapers can enjoy this little powerhouse in hundreds of situations where larger, more powerful devices should not to be seen. The eGo AIO delivers plenty of flavor and vapor, and at under $25, you can’t NOT pick one up if you’re seriously considering switching to vapor instead of smoke.
