A Spinfuel eLiquid Team Review For MIGQUID
….THIS REVIEW SPANS 3 PAGES….
MigQuid is a vendor out of Florida comprised of former smokers whose engineering backgrounds got them not only into the hardware end of things, but the eliquid side as well. In the first round, we are going to take a look at their Red Line of eliquids. The Red Line is a High VG line designed for Drippers and Subohm Tank users.
We have six flavors to cover and we will be making mention of adding Vimanna to certain flavors. Vimanna is an eliquid enhancer created by MigQuid. “Vimanna is to vape mixing, what coke, sprite and red bull are to mixed drinks.” I figured the best way to review it was to add it to the eliquids and then give a final conclusion on it at the end after getting everyone’s feedback. Let’s look at some information before we dive into the blends…

Spinfuel Protocols:
If this is the first time you are reading a Spinfuel eLiquid Team Review, we suggest that you take a look at the new protocols we’ve set up for each of the reviews we will do moving forward. You’ll need to know how long we vape the eliquid, in what manner, what we look for, and how an eliquid may earn a coveted Spinfuel Choice Award. In addition, in order to understand the scores and our comments about each one, knowing the intricacies of our methods will give you a greater understanding of the process. Click here:
MigQuid Particulars:
MigQuid Red Line Ejuice comes in 30ml cobalt blue glass bottles with glass child proof droppers. They retail after their mark down for $18.95 on their web site www.migcigs.com. This is a $.63/ml price which isn’t bad for these blends. The blends are an 80vg/20pg blend which is better for dripping, but can definitely be used in a good Sub-Ohm Tank. The nicotine levels available are: 0mg (.0%), 3mg (.3%), or 6mg (.6%).
Packaging:
We received the 30ml cobalt blue glass bottles with tamper proof droppers and child resistant caps. The labels are bold with a big photo and the flavor name and nicotine mg on the front. The label makes an almost complete wrap and on the tail ends at the back of it are the company name, ingredients list, and the proper warning. As always, I believe a batch code and born on date will be necessary at some point.
The JUICE:
This is what it is all about: the flavor. We have six to cover. I’m Dori, the head writer, and will kick every flavor off with my thoughts as the team follows. Remember as always, taste is subjective and is in the mouth of the beholder. I do believe I’ve assembled a truly unique team. We all have different palates and I value each opinion of those on my team. Let’s see what we come up with for these for six flavors and some with the addition of the “enhancer”!!
DRAGON’S BLOOD CHEESECAKE: “The name says it all. This recipe was rejected so many freakin’ times by our chef until it was perfected. Ingredients, all kinds of stuff. It is the best period.”
Dori: 4 stars. Dragon’s Blood Cheese Cake is decent take on a dragon fruit cheesecake, but I don’t feel it is as creamy or cheesy as it could be. They added the word cream after the title so I was expecting it to be really smooth and creamy and it really wasn’t. Dragon fruit can be tricky to find a sweet spot (especially if you try to blend to make a dragon fruit flavor), but I seemed to enjoy this flavor best at 40 watts with my .3-ohm coil build on the Production RDA. I’ll be using this build with my Lotus LE80 mod for these reviews. On the inhale, I really get the fruit blend here and it is a decent flavoring that was used. It seems that there are mild notes of a graham crust and cheesecake popping into the background, but they are mild. I would like a touch more of these flavors to really kick it up. I also think more cream would have rounded this out and added a touch more smoothness though there was just a mild throat hit. The exhale was a mild blend of all of the flavors that fade. The vapor production is decent.
I added the Vimanna to the Dragon’s Blood and I didn’t really care for this addition. I didn’t feel it gave any positives to the mix. I’m going to throw it in another eliquid to try it again.
Alicia: 4 stars. When I have a cheesecake vape, I like to be able to smell the cheesecake as soon as I open the bottle. Dragon’s Blood doesn’t have the cheesecake smell, at all. It has a very light, almost berry smell to it. So, right from the start I was skeptical about this flavor. So, I started at 50 watts and just like the smell, I didn’t get any cheesecake. I bumped up the heat to around 70 watts and the cheesecake finally came through. The inhale brings a berry flavor with a very light touch of cheesecake at the tip. I’m not really getting a cherry flavor like some of my teammates, its more of a mixed berry taste to me. The exhale tones down the berry flavor and the cheesecake comes through a little more and is then followed up with some graham cracker crust. The cheesecake and graham cracker crust is a little too light in my opinion. Those are the flavors that I love, so I really want to be able to taste them. But even with that being said, with the berry flavor being more noticeable, it’s still not a bad flavor. I can’t say that I would add it to my rotation, but it is one that I wouldn’t mind vaping if need be.
Scott: 4 stars. Dragons Blood had a good creamy cheesecake inhale, with light graham cracker taste. Unlike Dori and Alicia, I tasted more of a creamy taste with a slight cherry flavor. On the exhale, I did get a little more of the cherry flavoring. I wasn’t sure what fruit it was supposed to taste like, but I enjoyed the eliquid for the cheesecake flavoring. For this line, I used an Ipv3 with a Troll RDA built to .2 ohms.
Dana: 4 stars. I did my reviews a little differently this week. I always play around with the wattage to find the best flavor of the eliquid, but this week I am writing the flavor profiles for each eliquid at a higher and a lower wattage. For all reviews, I will be using a Hellboy RED with a .4-ohm coil build and a SMOK M80 regulated mod. I also tried the Dragon’s Blood Cheesecake in a Kanger SubTank with a .5-ohm coil.
Dragon’s Blood has a slightly sweet graham cracker inhale. At the tip of the exhale, I taste cherries and then taste mostly cream throughout the exhale. At 25 watts, the lower wattage seemed to bring out more of the cherry flavor. At 45 watts, the higher wattage brought out more cheesecake flavors. This has a medium throat hit. In the Kanger SubTank at 25 watts, I enjoyed it best because it seemed to enhance all of the flavors the best.
Louis: 4.25 stars. I really enjoyed this cheesecake replica liquid. It had a really nice cheesecake and graham cracker crust taste right on the inhale. On the exhale, I got the same cheesecake flavor with a light mix of the fruits and berries. It was almost like eating a slice of cheesecake with a fruity syrup drizzled over the top, but it’s not the normal strawberry or cherry cheesecake. Instead, it has a blend of different fruits and berries. I liked that it was an out of the norm take on cheesecake.
DARK ANGEL: “Dark Angel is a mix of fruit berries and secret ingredients including blackberries, strawberries, raspberries and secret flavors. Our chef added secret ingredients to balance it to perfection.”
Dori: 4.5 stars. I really enjoy the fruit combination that is in Dark Angel. I think the blackberry really comes out in the inhale before the strawberry and raspberry blend into the mix. There is a little bit of tartness that I get too, but it almost makes it taste more natural yet gives it a little harshness at the same time. The fruit flavors heighten at the tip of the exhale and fade as the exhale continues. If you are a fruit vape fan, this will be right up your alley. More fruit flavor comes out at a lower wattage, but I tried it from 35-60 watts and preferred it around 40 watts. Again, the vapor production is pretty decent.
I also stuck Dark Angel in a Mig Vapor Z Tank. This tank has a 3ml capacity and is made of a food grade polycarbonate material. I love the clear design. It’s also noted as a Kanger design and comes with 2 OCC vertical coils in .5 and 1.2 ohm. I’m using the .5 ohm. I enjoyed the flavor that I got out of the Z tank as far as Dark Angel goes. I enjoyed it best at 40 watts because this is where the berry flavorings are well blended throughout the entire vape. I still can pick out the blackberry the most, but that is what I like about this particular flavor. I get a decent amount of vapor from this eliquid through the Z tank at 40 watts as well. So far, the coil still is going strong after a couple days. So far, I haven’t given this tank enough of a whirl, but it’s performing well.
Alicia: 4.25 stars. Dark Angel is a decent berry blend that is tart with a slightly sweet touch. At 50 watts on my HexOhm v2.1 with my Flawless Production RDA built to .31 the inhale delivers a tart ripe raspberry flavor. It’s a good flavor, but is missing just a little sweetness for me to really like the raspberry. The exhale I tend to get more of a blackberry flavor, but it does get a little dull at the very end. Right before it fades out into the dull exhale, the blackberry gets just a tiny touch of sweetness that I really like. After vaping this for awhile, the tartness of the inhale started to irritate my throat my just a little. I added my Vimanna, and the sweetness came out a lot more. Although, with that, the ripe raspberry took on almost a candy raspberry flavor mixed with a little more blackberry than I had tasted before. The harshness went away with the inhale, so with that, I was happy.
Scott: 4 stars. On the inhale, I tasted a nice berry blend with a hint of the raspberry that was more noticeable than in the exhale. On the exhale, the flavor seemed to fade, but I was still able to get more of the raspberry flavor than anything. I still enjoyed Dark Angel and feel if you like fruity vapes, you will enjoy this one.
Dana: 4 stars. At 25 watts, Dark Angel has a nice berry flavor on the inhale. The flavor on the exhale reminds me mostly of fresh ripe raspberries, but it’s mixed with a mysterious flavor that I can’t figure out. When I set it at 40-45 watts, the eliquid loses the berry flavor and really enhances this mystery flavor. Dark Angel has a medium throat hit and I really think that dragon fruit may be the mystery flavor.
Louis: 3.5 stars. This was a decent fruity liquid. I got both a nice sweetness as well as a slightly tart flavor from the berries. The strawberry came out more at lower watts, while I noticed more of the raspberry/blackberry taste in higher wattages. Although it was an alright fruity liquid, that’s all it really was. The inhale and exhale were pretty similar (the flavors only mixed it up at different wattages). The inhale was just a lot better then the exhale because the same flavor just kind of dulled down for the exhale. I would have given it a higher rating if it had some quirks or it changed up a little bit instead of just the same taste, which like I said was just alright.
DRAGONS MILK: “Dragons Milk is or chefs blend of Pomegranate, Raspberry and Strawberry with added herbs and spices, drown with sweet lush cream. Our chef added secret ingredients to balance it to perfection.”
Dori: 3.5 stars. Dragons Milk just was an odd flavor combination that didn’t work in parts for me. The inhale had a tart flavor that was borderline off-tasting. I could even still taste it when I cranked the wattage up. Once this flavor faded, at around 50 watts, I tasted less of this tartness and I believe a little bit of the cream and berries before the exhale. The exhale once again is a fade of all the flavors blending. There was a mild throat hit and decent vapor production.
Alicia: 3 stars. Odd, that pretty much sums up this flavor. I’m not liking it and the combination is just too “off” for me. I’m not really getting any good flavor from this. The inhale, like Dori mentioned, is tart. The exhale is still tart but I can also taste just a touch of strawberry. I do not taste any of the cream which I think if there was just a little more of–it might smooth out that strange tart flavor on the inhale. The exhale also leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.
Scott: 3.5stars. I didn’t notice much cream on the inhale of Dragons Milk. I tasted a tart pomegranate flavor with a light strawberry hint. On the exhale, the tartness wasn’t as bad but it still left me with an odd taste in my mouth and the strawberry flavor seemed to fade. I added the Vimanna to this and to be honest I would bump this up to a 4.25 stars with it added. The tartness went away and it was sweeter. It gave it a little more boost to the flavoring that made it more enjoyable.
Dana: 4 stars. At 25 watts, Dragons Milk has a ripe raspberry and strawberry flavor. On the exhale, there is a light pomegranate flavor with a touch of cream and a tiny note of spice. At 45 watts, more of the strawberry and raspberry flavors came out, but it made the pomegranate very tart. The cream and little note of spice became almost non-existent. It really depends on how you prefer the flavor on this one. It was a decent blend that I think fruit lovers would enjoy. This had a medium throat hit as well.
Louis: 4 stars. For an eliquid with the word milk right in the name, I really didn’t find it to be milky or creamy. Don’t get me wrong, it had enough of a cream taste to make the fruits smoother. I got a slightly creamy, sweet, berry taste on the inhale, and more of the tart pomegranate on the exhale. It had a nice flavor, but all that it was missing was the milky creamy taste that I was anticipating.
INNOCENT: “Innocent E liquid by MigQuid’s Red line brand is a perfect balance of Kiwi, Strawberry and a secret ingredient.”
Dori: 4 stars. Innocent is a good fruity vape. This one seems to have a bit of harshness about it too. I believe it’s the kiwi I get on the inhale before I get a mild strawberry flavor that blends into it. It almost comes off as an apple flavor to me. I liked Innocent best around 35 watts, because I think this is where the fruit flavors came out the best. The exhale, again, is not much but the flavors blending and fading. I was tempted and placed a couple drops of the Vimanna on top of this one as well to see what a little more sweetness would do to help this one out. It helped to round the flavors out more and carry more of the flavor into the exhale. I simply dripped a couple drops on after dripping the Innocent onto the cotton first. I would bump this flavor up to a 4.25 with the Vimanna addition…maybe even a 4.5.
Alicia: 4.5 stars. I liked this one right at 70 watts. The Kiwi is bold and does stand out throughout this vape a lot more than the strawberry. But for me, I like it. Strawberry is common and is normally the stand out flavor when mixed, so I like how Innocent has the strawberry taking a backseat to the kiwi. The inhale is full of kiwi and it does have a little touch of a “tropical” feeling to it which adds character to the flavor. The inhale is more of the kiwi but the strawberry comes in and mixes and makes a good flavor. The flavor is sweet with a touch of the tropics.
Scott: 4 stars. I’m with Louis that the kiwi in this one was so strong and very overpowering that I could barely taste the strawberry. On the inhale, I tasted a good kiwi flavor with a slight strawberry undertone. On the exhale, the kiwi faded and I tasted the nice mix of the kiwi and strawberry.
Dana: 4 stars. Innocent has a tropical kiwi taste on the inhale and a strawberry flavor that comes out on the exhale at 25 watts. When I turned the wattage up to 40, this made the kiwi and strawberry flavoring really faint and bring out another fruit flavor I can’t quite pin point. It was a tart, rooty type flavor. I didn’t mind it either way, but preferred it at the lower wattage. This had a medium throat hit as well. Louis: 3.5 stars. Rarely can you really taste the kiwi in strawberry kiwi eliquids, but I was surprised that I could mostly taste the kiwi, and that it was a good kiwi flavor. I could barely taste the strawberry at 35 watts at first, then as I turned up the wattage it started to come out more (around 45). I’m not sure how I feel about not knowing the secret ingredient. I couldn’t really guess what it might have been, but I do know I didn’t really like whatever it was. I might have given a higher rating if I had known what that secret ingredient was instead of having to try to guess.
FRUITY LOOPS: “The name says it all. This recipe was rejected 56 times by our chef until it was perfected. It is the best period.”
Dori: 3.5 stars. Fruity Loops is not that bad, but it’s not that good either. I like the inhale where I can taste the actual cereal part and some citrus and cream notes dance into the mix. I don’t mind the exhale until I realize there is a weird taste that lingers in my mouth afterwards. This flavor is a little hard to get past. I tried. I even tried different wattages. My problem is that I have tasted several Fruit Loop vapes and this one is NOT the best. I’m the odd man out here I guess. I also do not like the references to the Chef rejecting recipes 56 times to make it perfect and other references to secret ingredients throughout many flavors. That’s a minus in my department. A little mystery in one flavor is ok, but numerous ones?
Alicia: 5 stars. Fruity Loops smells like fruity loops and tastes like it too! At my sweet spot of 70 watts, it tastes just like the cereal, without the milk. I have to agree with Louis’s dry cereal reference. I started out around 40 watts and the citrus was a little too overpowering for me, so I bumped up the heat and the fruity flavors started to come through. The citrus is still there, but mixing well with the fruity flavors to make it feel like I’m eating a handful of the cereal. This is one of the better fruit cereals I’ve tasted as far as mixing the fruit with the citrus. Now, if I could just add some milk to it, it’d be perfect. But, as a dry handful of cereal, I have to give it a 5!
Scott: 5 stars. I gave Fruity Loops a 5 because like Lou, I thought that it was a very good taste. It tasted like you reached into the box of cereal and grabbed a hand full. I noticed a slight taste of creaminess at the end of the exhale, but not enough to say it tasted like a bowl of cereal. I’m not sure what they were looking for, but this wasn’t bad and as far as the cereal part goes…it was right on!
Dana: 5 stars. Fruity Loops was my favorite flavor from this line. At 25 watts, you can taste each of the flavors just like the cereal. I really enjoyed the lemon, lime, and berries with a touch of milk at the tip of the exhale. At 45 watts, it brought out a little too much lemon flavor, so I preferred it at the lower wattage. All I could taste was a strong, fake lemon flavoring at 45 watts. If you like this cereal and don’t mind vaping at lower wattages, Fruity Loops will be one for you to definitely try!! Louis: 4.5 stars. This eliquid was not lying in its name, it had a bold fruit loops taste. I got a strong taste of all the fruit loops fruits on the inhale, and it smoothed out and was less intense on the exhale. It literally tastes just like some fruit loops straight out of the box (I was personally missing the milk). This was the eliquid that I added the Vimanna flavor enhancer to and I’m kind of glad that I did. I thought it kept the fruit loops taste, but added an out of place fruit that kind of tasted odd, but I did like that it also made it a little creamy. It wasn’t full on milk in the bowl creamy, but it made it taste like one of those fruit loops cereal bars that has the milky center to it. Not the best cereal liquid that I have had, but I did enjoy it.
CARIBBEAN FREEZE: “Caribbean Freeze is a soft strawberry, mango mix just balanced with the perfect hint of menthol. This flavor gives a wonderful aroma with a tingle.”
Dori: 4.25 stars. Freeze is the word on this one. I do get a hint of the mango on the inhale and maybe even taste the strawberry from time to time throughout the blend. However, the menthol is not the perfect hint as they say in the description. It’s a knock you in your face addition. This is more than a tingle. This menthol vape is for the serious menthol lover, and believe me there are plenty of you out there that will appreciate the seriousness of this flavor. If you enjoy a subtle fruit flavor in your menthol vape, and love that sinus clearing menthol, this is going to be right up your alley. I gave it a decent score because the menthol is refreshing and has a good taste to it, it’s just too overpowering and I believe there should be more fruit flavor to fit the description. The throat hit is medium and there is a nice vapor production. I turned the wattage up and down to see where I could handle it best and around 25 watts won out! This is also where I noticed the most fruit flavor.
Alicia: 3.75 stars. Well, I have to say, “infused” with menthol is right. Wow! I made the mistake of starting off at 70 watts. Bad idea. I quickly turned it down to around 30 watts and stayed right there. If you’re looking for a flavor with just a hint of menthol, this isn’t it. Caribbean Freeze is definitely only for menthol lovers. It’s powerful and cold. I get tiny bursts of fruit every now and again, but the menthol is the “in your face” menthol that is there throughout the entire vape. It’s hard to tell what type of fruit I taste because as soon as I can taste fruit, it’s replaced with the menthol. But, like I said, for the menthol lovers, this wouldn’t be a bad one. If you’re more like me and like more flavor with just a touch of menthol, this one would more than likely be too strong for you.
Scott: 4 stars. The inhale was a very strong menthol, but there was a slight hint of fruit that I noticed in the background. The exhale was still strong, but there was more of a fruit flavor to it. Turning down the watts made the menthol not as strong, but the fruit doesn’t pop as much either to me. I agree with everyone else that it is a little more tolerable at lower wattages because the menthol isn’t as intense.
Dana: 5 stars. As I have stated in many of my other reviews, menthol eliquids are not my cup of tea. Caribbean Freeze is one of the better menthol flavored vapes I have tried. At 25 watts, there is a strong menthol inhale and a nice blend of strawberry and mango on the exhale. Setting it at 40 watts really made the menthol POP!! It was so strong that I lost most of the fruit flavorings. Playing with the wattage can adjust how much fruit flavoring YOU want to taste in this vape. This has a strong throat hit, but I feel it would be a great menthol flavor to add to any collection of eliquids!! Louis: 4 stars. This menthol flavored eliquid was a little much at first, but it calmed down after the first few vapes (either that or I got used to it). It kind of reminded me of the freeze sensation that you get from chewing Dentyne ice gum. The thing that set this menthol eliquid apart from the others was the surprise fruity taste that comes out of the woodwork. I only tasted the menthol in the inhale, but in the exhale I noticed hints of pineapple/mango and tropical fruits. It was a good difference; definitely made you vape twice. I agree with Dana, I thought that the fruits came out more in the lower wattages. This is definitely something to try if you are looking for a change up in your menthol flavor.
CONCLUSION:
MigQuid Red Line eliquids may not have gotten any awards, but the majority of the scores for all of the flavors were 4 or higher and some 5s were thrown out. I think this signifies that MigQuid will be well received by many vapers out there. The Vimanna is a unique tool for vapers. I have heard of companies that offer extra flavor shots or extra sweetener. This gives US, you and I, the ability to change up any eliquid. I personally didn’t get an enhancement for one flavor, but really felt it added to another as did the rest of the team. We even said we would bump the rating up with the addition. It wouldn’t hurt to try a bottle out, especially if you have purchased eliquids that aren’t quite to your liking that you have just sitting around. Vimanna may be able to dress the flavor up for you. Check out the Vimanna and the other Red Line Liquids if you see a flavor that has sparked your interest!!
As always, the team and I all have a unique way of tasting flavors but you’ll know who you relate to most after you read all of the reviews. We all have our own style. These are our opinions and it is nice to have different views sometimes on the same product.
