Fuchai Duo-3 175W TC Box Mod Preview
Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 175W TC Box Mod is the latest evolution, or a modern take, on the high performance Sigelei Fuchai series. Sigelei starts with a fully upgradeable, new chipset that can output a maximum of 175W along with a full complement of temperature control. Like a hundred other box mods on the market, this $49.95 mod (Element Vape) there’s nothing really ground breaking, or new.
The most surprising feature of the Duo-3 TC mod is how petite it is. It’s certainly tall enough, but the width and depth leave little room for more than the dual 18650 batteries it requires. This seems to be top-notch engineering from Sigelei, not to mention a very comfortable box mod to hold.
Measuring 5.1 inches by 2.5 inches by 1.8 inches, the Fuchai Duo-3 is also the prettiest box mod produced from Sigelei since I can remember. Colors Black and Red, but further colors are already being talked about, including white, blue, silver, and gold. During my review period, I chose the Red Sigelei Duo-3.
The Fuchai Duo-3 is built with a lightweight Zinc Alloy construction with soft contours about the chassis. The large 1-Inch full-color resolution OLED display offers up an aesthetic that is very pleasing to the eye, as well as displaying all the information the user will need . The adjustment buttons are below the display, and the Deuo-3 features an oversized firing button located directly above the display.
A lot has been said about the advancement in chipset technology by Sigelei, and the Fuchai Duo-3 incorporates this powerful chipset. Not only can it max out at 175W, it goes a step further in the TC department with customized temperature control settings with TCR and TFR adjustments. It’s upgradeable firmware feature is a nice thought, though not many upgrades come from any vape gear manufacturer, but we’ll see.
Powered by dual high-amp 18650 batteries (not included) that are accessed through removable battery cover and a “press to open” triangular button on the bottom of the Duo-3.
Although I’ve just begun my review process, I have to say that as a part of the Fuchai collection, the Sigelei Fuchai Duo-3 175W TC Box Mod is a gorgeous powerhouse device, and if it holds up to my experience with early usage, this device is going to receive a great score. Look for my review during the first week of June.
