Privacy Policy
Spinfuel.com • Legal
Last Updated: April 2026
At Spinfuel, we value your privacy as much as we value our editorial integrity. This policy outlines how we handle your data when you visit Spinfuel.com, subscribe to our newsletter, leave a comment, or otherwise interact with the Spinfuel Lab environment. We have written it in plain language because we believe you deserve to understand exactly what we do — and do not do — with your information.
1. Data Collection and Usage
We collect only the minimum data required to operate the site and communicate with our readers. The categories of information we may collect are as follows:
Analytics Data: When you visit Spinfuel.com, standard web analytics tools collect anonymized information about your visit, including pages viewed, time on site, referring URL, browser type, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and is not linked to any individual identity. We use this information solely to understand how readers engage with our content and to improve the site experience.
Newsletter Subscription Data: If you subscribe to the Spinfuel newsletter, we collect your email address and any name you choose to provide. This information is used exclusively to send you the newsletter and editorial communications you have opted into. We use MailerLite as our email service provider. Your subscription data is stored on MailerLite’s servers and is subject to their privacy policy in addition to ours.
Comment and Submission Data: If you leave a comment on an article or submit content through a site form, we collect the information you provide in that submission — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use WPForms for form processing. Submitted data is stored on our servers and, where applicable, processed through WPForms’ systems.
Contact Inquiries: If you contact us directly via email or a contact form, we retain that correspondence for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. We do not add contact inquiry email addresses to our newsletter list without your explicit consent.
We do not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information to third parties. Ever. This is not a legal formality — it is an editorial position.
2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Spinfuel.com uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to support site functionality and analytics. The cookies we use fall into the following categories:
Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. They include session cookies that maintain your browsing session and security tokens that protect form submissions.
Analytics Cookies: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use the site. Google Analytics places cookies in your browser to track session information such as pages visited, time on site, and traffic source. This data is processed by Google and subject to Google’s privacy policy. The information collected is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
Functional Cookies: These cookies remember your preferences to improve your experience — for example, remembering that you have dismissed a notification or accepted our cookie banner.
Third-Party Embed Cookies: Some content embedded in our articles — including video players, social media widgets, and affiliate product modules — may place their own cookies in your browser. We do not control these third-party cookies. If this is a concern, we recommend using a browser-level cookie management extension.
2a. Your Cookie Choices
You can manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect site functionality. You may also opt out of Google Analytics tracking specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
Where required by applicable law, we will present a cookie consent banner on your first visit. Your preference will be stored and respected on subsequent visits.
3. Third-Party Data Processors
In operating Spinfuel.com, we work with the following third-party service providers who may process data on our behalf. Each is bound by their own privacy commitments and data processing agreements:
- Google Analytics — website traffic and behavior analytics
- MailerLite — email newsletter delivery and subscriber management
- WPForms — contact form and submission processing
- WordPress hosting infrastructure — site hosting and content delivery
- Cloudflare (if applicable) — content delivery network and DDoS protection
We do not grant any of these providers the right to use your data for their own marketing purposes beyond what is required to deliver their service to us. If we add new third-party processors in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
4. Age Verification and Minor Protection
Spinfuel.com covers nicotine products, vaping hardware, and related content. This content is intended exclusively for adults. Specifically:
- Spinfuel does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21 in the United States, or under the legal age of majority in any other jurisdiction.
- We do not direct any content, advertising, or marketing toward minors.
- If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information — through a newsletter signup, comment submission, or contact form — we will delete that information from our systems promptly.
- If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to Spinfuel.com, please contact us immediately at the address provided in Section 9 and we will take appropriate action.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:
Newsletter subscriber data is retained for the duration of your subscription. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from active lists within 30 days. We may retain a suppression record of your email address to ensure you are not inadvertently re-added.
Comment and form submission data is retained for a period of up to three years for operational and record-keeping purposes, after which it is reviewed for deletion.
Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely for historical traffic analysis. No personally identifiable information is retained in our analytics records.
Contact inquiry correspondence is retained for up to two years for reference and record-keeping purposes.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. See Section 7 for how to submit that request.
6. California Residents and CCPA Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you specific rights regarding your personal information:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (we do not sell personal information).
- The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- The right to opt out of the sale of personal information. As stated above, Spinfuel does not sell personal information.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 9. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by law.
6a. GDPR and International Visitors
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection legislation, you have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to data portability and the right to object to processing in certain circumstances.
Spinfuel.com is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the site from outside the US, please be aware that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the site, you consent to this transfer.
To exercise your rights under GDPR or equivalent legislation, contact us at the address in Section 9.
7. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
Regardless of your location, you have the following rights with respect to any personal data Spinfuel.com holds about you:
- Right of Access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction — you may request that we correct inaccurate personal data.
- Right to Deletion — you may request that we delete your personal data, subject to our legal and operational retention obligations.
- Right to Withdraw Consent — where processing is based on your consent (such as newsletter subscription), you may withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us directly.
- Right to Complain — if you believe we have not handled your data appropriately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
To submit any data request, contact us using the information in Section 9. We will acknowledge your request within five business days and resolve it within 30 days where possible.
8. Affiliate and Sponsored Content Disclosure
Spinfuel.com may contain affiliate links — links to products or services through which we may earn a commission if you make a purchase. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial coverage or the integrity of our reviews. The Spinfuel Lab reviews products on their merits. An affiliate relationship does not guarantee a positive review, and the absence of an affiliate relationship does not guarantee a negative one.
Where content is sponsored — that is, where a manufacturer or brand has paid for coverage or provided consideration in exchange for a review or feature — this will be clearly disclosed within that specific article. Sponsored content is always identified as such. Spinfuel’s editorial standards apply to sponsored content in the same way they apply to independent editorial coverage.
For questions about our affiliate or sponsorship policies, contact us at the address below.
9. Contact and Privacy Requests
For all privacy-related inquiries, data requests, or concerns about how Spinfuel.com handles your personal information, please contact us at:

We take privacy inquiries seriously and will respond promptly. If your inquiry relates to a data deletion request, please include sufficient information to allow us to locate your records — typically the email address associated with your account or submission.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices, legal requirements, or site operations. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide notice through a site banner or newsletter communication.
Your continued use of Spinfuel.com following any update to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
