My favorite way to consume Cannabis, CBD, and Delta THC is through edibles. And the best edible (for me) is great tasting Gummies. Nothing like a candy flavored gummy with a bit of THC in it to make me relaxed, calm, and ready for whatever.
Delta 9 THC in DeltaExtrax Gummies Have Arrived
DeltaExtrax now offers Delta 9 THC in Guavaberry Fruit Premium, Blueberry Citrus, and Kiwi Mixer flavors.
These tasty Gummies are bursting with fruity and balanced flavors surely to appeal to just about every flavor palette. With a single Gummy I was feeling a nice body high (and much less shoulder and knee pain), as well as a calm, pleasant feeling of the mind.
Delta 9 THC and the Brain
These 6-gram gummies feature 15mg of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC which means that DeltaExtrax gummies are a fully legal hemp product under the 2018 Hemp Farm Bill as they contain 0.25% delta-9-THC.
How to Enjoy Delta 9 THC Gummies
First, back in the beginning of August we published our review of Delta 8 THC Rainbow Gummies by DeltaExtrax. A couple of weeks later we were told about a newer, Delta 9 THC, gummy that will be available very soon. Our interest in reviewing any and all of DeltaExtrax products got us at the head of the line for the Delta 9 THC Gummies.
Like the Rainbow Gummies, the Delta 9 THC Gummies are consumed in the same way. Take 1/2 of one gummy to start with in order to establish your individual tolerance. You can then increase the amount in ½ increments to reach the desired effect. (To get higher, relieve more pain, etc.)
I started off with a half gummy and the flavor tasted so good I let it melt in my mouth (which took a while). Speaking strictly for myself, pain relief started in 30 minutes or so.
I wanted to test the degree of feeling “stoned”, and because I didn’t feel it at the time the pain relief began, I popped a full Gummy in my mouth and watched a few episodes of Manifest on Netflix.
90 Minutes After Delta 9 THC Consumption
I must have a really low tolerance for THC. About 90 minutes after consuming the full gummy, and after the movie ended, I got up from my recliner to grab a glass of iced tea. When I was fully upright, I went from “feeling good” to “what have I done?”.
Don’t get me wrong, I was not so high I couldn’t function, but I was considerably higher than I was at this point with the Rainbow Delta 8 THC Gummies. Maybe it was me, or the immersion in the movie (The Old Guard), or the Delta 9.
In any case, I was the kind of stoned that I felt no pain, my teeth were buzzing, I was very relaxed, but focused at the same time.
Over Consumption Can Be an Issue
I am a 220-pound 60+ man in excellent health except for a severe case of degenerative arthritis and, naturally, Type 2 diabetes. I still consider myself in excellent health because my PCP is always happy with my blood work, oxygen saturation included, and all other tests that men my age are sadly subjected to.
Why mention this? Because you need to know that if you spend $20 on a bag of Delta 9 THC Gummies and decide to eat the whole bag like it was candy, you’re in for a VERY big, a VERY long High.
An Intense high that might be scary and might have you rushing yourself to the ER. It’s not deadly at all, but over consuming is indeed scary as hell.
I over consumed just a few days ago at home. First, I consumed a whole gummy, got wicked pain relief followed by a very relaxed state of mind. Then, honestly, I forgot that I had eaten a whole one (I thought I consumed a half), then for some reason popped another whole one in my mouth.
An hour later I felt my body was lighter than air. My mind was quiet, empty, and it took effort to follow a conversation. Now imagine popping 10 of them in your mouth at one time.
How a Delta High is Different than High THC Cannabis
Over the past decade my degenerative joints became so debilitating that I have been on strong painkillers just to function. Normal people would get wasted on these painkillers but for me I felt nothing except pain relief. But people develop a tolerance to opiates and I long ago reached the legal limit that I was allowed to take.
I reached out and obtained a medical marijuana card and visited the local dispensary to stock up on various edibles, joints, tinctures, and more. All with high levels of THC. This stuff is so strong I never went back, and I didn’t renew my marijuana card.
If you use cannabis, or know someone who does, you’ve seen people smoke a joint or eat a brownie and one of the first things they do is laugh at everything. With the Delta THC products I’ve used, laughing is not part of the equation.
I never felt stupid, or get red eyes, or cottonmouth. The highs are more controlled. You’ll definitely feel that cannabis buzz, but you can always function. And since it’s legal you can always have some around when you want it or need it.
