Not to mention Inflation has risen globally, and it is gaining momentum in the US, causing even more stress to millions of people around the world.

We are currently facing significant and dangerous challenges, so I’m also concerned about the influence bad actors have on ‘woke folk.’ As a result, this year has been more like a nightmare than anything else.

Stress and Anxiety Kills

My mind has been racing every night since 2020. Even listening to soothing music stopped working during the black COVID years, and yawns replaced words mid-sentence.

There are times when I will fall asleep in the middle of writing, without even knowing it. I’ll wake up 10-20 minutes later and wonder if I fell asleep or fainted. I mean, how can anyone go from being alert one second to being asleep the next second?

Anyway, I know the current evils of the world, from Russia becoming the new Nazi Germany, Putin becoming the 21st century Hitler, and American politicians playing with innocent lives to further their agendas, are taking its toll on me, my family, my friends, and just about everyone. I am ashamed to be an American every time I see Russian war crimes being committed and Trump, Johnson, and Greene just laugh it off and continue to ugly and vulgar ways.

I find myself listening to the angry Roger Waters 1990’s album, “Amused to Death”, because the lyrics in that album have never been a more accurate description of the last few years. Is my lack of quality sleep causing me to become a fatalist, or is the world truly going to shit?
