Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha Eliquid Review
Starting in late 2015 Vaporfi began to take the premium eliquid market by storm. It began with Vaporfi Grand Reserve, a high VG line that this team absolutely adored. In 2016 we began to see Vaporfi work with Cosmic Fog to produce some exceptional new flavors. Today’s review is for this incredible, Spinfuel-Choice-Award-Winning Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha.
Raspberry Mocha arrives inside a Starbucks like high quality coffee cup with a plastic lid. Inside sits, securely, a 30mL bottle of delicious raspberry mocha flavor that turned out to be an excellent all-day-vape. Raspberry Mocha is made up of the following flavors; Raspberry, Espresso Coffee, Steamed Milk, and Dark Chocolate. When vaped in a good flavor tank you’ll taste every flavor component in exacting proportions.
Here’s Vaporfi’s official description:
“Immerse yourself in the rich aroma of fresh coffee with Vaporfi’s Raspberry Mocha vape juice. Taking a draw of this robust e-liquid immediately whisks you away to your favorite coffee shop and into raspberry mocha bliss. The premium espresso impression marinates on the back note offering a rich layer of freshly brewed coffee, while its decadent blend of chocolate and raspberry serenade the tongue like the bubbles on a milk steamer. This premium blend is encased in emulated coffee cups to pay homage to barista and coffee enthusiasts everywhere.”
Now, considering the marketing elements of the above paragraph, the team can attest to its accuracy, and if we were tasked with selling this eliquid we would describe it the same way.
Particulars of Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha Eliquid
This is a 70% VG, 30% PG blend. Vaporfi’s VG is sourced from Soybean, meaning most people that suffer from peanut allergies won’t feel any ill effects (but try a little first, just to be safe), and the nicotine used by Vaporfi is l-nicotine, or Laboratory Nicotine, the purist nicotine on the market and identical in chemical makeup to tobacco sourced nicotine. Nicointe strength is .3%, .6%. and 1.2%, and naturally, a zero-nic option is available. Raspberry Mocha is also free of Acetyl Propionyl and Diacetyl.
About the only negative of Vaporfi’s new Raspberry Mocha is that it is only available in 30mL bottles. It is past due for Vaporfi to produce all their premium eliquids in 60mL bottles and beyond. The price of their 30mL bottle is $17.99, not bad considering, but we can’t help believe that Vaporfi could get the cost per mL down a bit with a larger size.
The Team’s Evaluation of Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha
Julia: 5 Stars – I expected a stronger coffee flavor from Raspberry Mocha, despite the word Mocha, meaning chocolate, in the name. I would be hard pressed to call this flavor a coffee flavor, per se, the two prominent flavors are a sweet raspberry (about the best I’ve ever had), and a deep, delicious mocha flavor. When vaped with the Ceravape Cerabis 44 equipped with a .5Ω coil, the sweet spot is a toasty 58W-60W. Using the .3Ω coil of the SMOK Minos tank I found the sweet spot to be 46W.
Although Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha produces voluminous amounts of vapor, I would still recommend a good flavor tank, like the Cerabis line or Freemax Starre PURE, or any other tank you like for flavor. You’ll enjoy the vapor, but more important, you’ll love the complex and layered flavors of this delightful all day vape.
Tom: 5 Stars – I was excited to see a new coffee blend come into Spinfuel VAPE for review. It’s been a while, and I’ve been wanting to add a new coffee flavor to my rotation. Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha is, without a doubt, my new all-day-favorite, and a permanent part of my rotation.
The mocha flavor and raspberry flavor fight for dominance on the inhale, and raspberry wins out on the exhale, followed closely by a mix of mocha and espresso. There is a note of creaminess, the “steamed milk” component at the very end of exhale. All in all, if you enjoy raspberry flavors and/or mocha/coffee flavors, you’ll have to try this magnificent blend. My only complaint is the size. 30mL of a 70% VG blend is going to last no more than 2-days if you are a heavy vaper, like I am, and it would help matters if people like us could buy 60mL, or 120mL for convenience and maybe even save a few bucks. I am reminded that the KILO Black Series is packaged in deluxe boxes and 60mL glass bottles and sells for $23.95 at Element Vape, ($30 on Kilo’s website).
I’m happy to say that this will be the best raspberry mocha eliquid you’ve ever had, but you’ll pay 59 cents per mL. Is it worth it? Well, considering there is no competition for this flavor that I know of, I have to say yes, it is worth it. But whenever you see Vaporfi offer a flash sale, or some kind of coupon code sale, take advantage of it. That’s what I intend to do.
Kiera: 5 Stars – When Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha came into Spinfuel VAPE HQ I was already into reviewing the new “I Love Donuts Too”, a sequel from last year’s huge I Love Donuts, and I was elated with this new, “more donuts” blend. But, Julia told me to switch gears and start vaping Raspberry Mocha. After a good night’s sleep I woke up to a tank full of Raspberry Mocha and, using Julia’s recommendation of 46W with my SMOK Big Baby tank (new from SMOK) I lit into Raspberry Mocha will a slow, deep, inhale. (I filled the tank the night before so the coil was fully saturated) Oh My God.
I’m proud to say that I am a big fan of Vaporfi’s premium eliquids like the Grand Reserve and the Strawberry Shortcake with Cosmic Fog, but this… this raspberry mocha beats them all. This eliquid is perfect, and I don’t say that lightly.
The amount of raspberry, espresso, milk, and dark chocolate is perfectly proportioned. Vaporfi should not alter this recipe one iota. Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha is the first espresso based eliquid I can call an all-day-vape. I’ve since added it to my daily rotation, and I agree with the others that these premium eliquids from Vaporfi need to be sold in larger bottles.
Jason: 5 Stars – Tom and I were discussing the possibility that in the coming year, 2017, we would see very little in the way of new flavors of eliquid. Unless something is done, we’re about to be stuck with what we have now, and that is a travesty. Having said that, with Vaporfi releasing Raspberry Mocha in November, I can honestly say that with this new flavor, and all my current flavors in my collection, I can survive a cut off for a while. Time will tell, but for now, I’m calling Vaporfi’s release of Raspberry Mocha as “just in time”.
On the inhale, using a SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast, 0.15Ω coil at just 50W, Raspberry Mocha delivers the best raspberry/espresso/dark chocolate blend I’ve ever vaped. This eliquid is like the perfect cup of coffee. Every flavor component hits its mark; the total experience is one any coffee/mocha lover will want to vape.
My hat is off to the mixologist that developed this blend. From the 70% Soybean VG, to the lab made nicotine, and the purist, natural flavors of raspberry, espresso, steamed milk and dark chocolate, Raspberry Mocha doesn’t get any better than this.
From the first moment to the last, not a single one of the team had anything negative to say about this perfect blend of special flavors and the highest quality ingredients. From a price standpoint, yes, it’s pricy at $17.99 for 30mL, so we all agreed that watching for Vaporfi Eliquid sales is the best way to buy this one. Down the road, once the feedback from consumers begins to flow in to Vaporfi, they may drop bigger bottles into the marketplace. We can hope. In the meantime, we can’t say enough about this marvelous new flavor.
The 70% VG will give you the big clouds, but don’t buy Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha for the clouds, buy it for the sumptuous flavors. You won’t be sorry.
Helpful Tip: Vaporfi Raspberry Mocha is best served in a flavor tank, somewhere between .15Ω and .5Ω, using Kanthal and/or Ceramic coils. Tastes best when the vapor is warm, but don’t scorch it. Cold morning, frigid evening, this is the eliquid that will warm your hearts, and your minds, and will remind you that eliquid flavors can be perfectly exquisite.
