Uwell Crown Mini Sub-Ohm Tank

The Uwell Crown is back in full force. Not the original Crown but the Crown Mini Sub-Ohm Tank! I’ve been enjoying the Uwell Crown 2 the past few months but I always felt something was missing; that original Crown flare just wasn’t there. Not only is the Uwell Crown Mini almost identical to the original but it’s only $21.95 at Element Vape; a ridiculously great value and it won’t break the bank. Available in the same colors as the larger unit (Black, Stainless Steel and Rose Gold), I’m glad Spinfuel HQ sent me the Rose Gold since I rock that on any tank that’s it’s available for; you guys know me all too well!

The original Uwell Crown was one of the first Sub-Ohm Tanks that I fell in love with. Not only do I still use my original Crowns (one of each color) but now Uwell gave us the iconic Crown in miniature form! The thing I’m not raving about is the minuscule 2ml eJuice capacity. But keep in mind this is a mini version of the original so of course the capacity is going to be smaller. The thing I do appreciate with the Uwell Crown Mini Sub-Ohm Tank is it’s very easy to pick up and vape. It’s not a complicated system at all and anyone with even a little vaping knowledge can easily pick it up and run with it.

First Impression

Since receiving the Uwell Crown Mini Sub-Ohm Tank, I’ve had it attached to the Vaporshark DNA250 Box Mod (full review coming very soon) and with the included 0.25ohm SS316L coil head, I’ve really been indulging the flavor and vapor output. It resembles the original as far as performance goes but I prefer the shorter, stouter tank section over the larger Crown. Uwell also decreased the height of the drip tip which really adds to the portability and use outdoors.

The same wonderful knurling around the airflow control ring and the top cap is incorporated with the Mini; no extra locking ring to worry about. Simple top-fill with a smooth airy draw makes the Crown Mini addicting to vape with. I’ve been relentless on the same 0.25Ω coil head for almost a week at 65-75W with zero sign of muted flavor or gunked-up cotton. The Crown Mini is compatible with all the coils that fit the larger Crown and thankfully I have a ton left over on hand from months back. I’m looking forward to installing my Atom Vapes GCeramic and GClapton coil heads that I stocked up on with my original Crown. Make sure to check back for the full review coming sometime next week to see if the Uwell Crown Mini Sub-Ohm Tank passed all the tests I’ll put it through.
