What’s in the Box?

The VAAL GLAZ 6500 comes packaged in a detailed box with all the information you’d expect. On the front there’s an image of the GLAZ 6500 along with a large nicotine warning and the name of the flavor.

On either side of the box there’s a ton of handy information including the puff capacity, e-juice capacity and dates of manufacture and expiry. There’s also a QR code you can scan to check for the authenticity of the GLAZ 6500 you’ve purchased.

Finally on the back of the box you’ll find a list of ingredients, specifications for the disposable and several more warnings.

The only information that was missing for me was the PG/VG ratio of the e-juice. While not really essential it is useful for those who suffer from PG Intolerance.

VAAL GLAZ 6500 | Design and Appearance

For me personally, the look and feel of the GLAZ 6500 is absolutely brilliant! It’s designed as a box style vape and manufactured out of Polycarbonate. The Polycarbonate construction gives it both a lightweight feel and a good level of durability.

It measures 78mm in height, 51mm in width and a mere 19mm in depth making it one of the smallest rechargeable disposables we’ve ever reviewed. In fact, in terms of size I can only really compare it to the Yumi EPICmod disposable we reviewed earlier this year.

Add to this the incredibly light 62g weight and the GLAZ 6500 is an extremely portable vape that’s perfect for taking with you on the go! During my time testing the VAAL GLAZ 6500 I frequently carried around 2 or 3 at a time and never really noticed them sitting in my pocket.

What makes the compact size and feather weight even more impressive is the amount VAAL have managed to squeeze inside the GLAZ 6500. There’s a whopping 13ml of e-juice inside that should provide plenty of vaping time (more on this later!).

There’s also an equally impressive 650 mAh rechargeable battery inside. This should provide even a heavy vaper enough battery to last at least a couple of days in between recharges. In the performance section of this review I’ll drill down into how long the battery on the GLAZ 6500 lasts and the total lifespan of a VAAL GLAZ 6500 disposable.

Aesthetically speaking I think VAAL have also done a superb job. Each GLAZ 6500 is color coded to match the given flavor and the colors are bright, vibrant and eye catching. For example, the ‘Mango Fanta Lemonade’ disposable is bright yellow with an orange color for the font.

On the front and back of the GLAZ 6500 there’s also large upper case font in a graffiti / word cloud style. On one side the name ‘VAAL GLAZ 6500’ is printed with the name of the flavor in a smaller font underneath.

The other side of the device features another word cloud, this time reading the name of the individual flavor. Interestingly the name of the flavor is printed on the device for a third time just underneath this. The bold font, bright colors and box shape give the GLAZ 6500 a really funky, retro look that works really well.

If flavor is also a top concern, you can rest easy knowing that the GLAZ 6500 is designed with a honeycomb shaped mesh coil. Mesh coils are becoming increasingly popular in disposable vapes because the coil has a larger surface area to make contact with the wick. In turn this increases the flavor intensity and reduces the risk or dry/burnt hits.

The GLAZ 6500 is also designed with ease of use in mind. There are no buttons or adjustable settings and as an auto-draw device you simply puff on the mouthpiece to fire the coil. This makes the GLAZ 6500 particularly suited to those who are new to vaping (or like me, those who like the simpler things in life!).

In terms of draw it’s designed as a mouth-to-lung (MTL) device. This simply refers to how you draw the vapor down into your lungs. On a MTL device like the GLAZ 6500 you draw the vapor into your mouth before drawing it down into your lungs.

It’s also worth mentioning that the VAAL GLAZ 6500 doesn’t have any option to adjust the airflow. While this is fairly typical on a disposable vape it’s still something I always wish were included.

On the base of the GLAZ 6500 you’ll find the Type-C USB charge port which is rated at 0.5A. Again this is fairly typical on a disposable and should result in a reasonably fast recharge time (more on this later). On the base you’ll also notice there’s a small hole to provide airflow to the coil.

One small design detail I really like on the GLAZ 6500 is the bottom section of the vape is entirely transparent. This means you get to see some of the inner workings of the device.

Finally on the base there are also colored LEDs that light up when you draw on the vape or when you recharge the device.

For example, when drawing on the ‘Mango Fanta Lemonade’ flavor the entire base of the GLAZ 6500 lights up yellow. Then when you recharge the device a red LED illuminates. When your VAAL GLAZ 6500 does run out of battery the bright LED will slowly flash 10 times. It’s also designed with pass-through charging which means the disposable can still be vaped while on charge.

Overall I was incredibly impressed with the design of the VAAL GLAZ 6500. It’s compact, light and super comfortable to vape on. I’m a big fan of the bright and attractive colors they’ve used and the multiple colored LEDs are also a brilliant touch.

VAAL GLAZ 6500 | Performance

When it comes to the performance of the GLAZ 6500 things get a little bit trickier. Let me start by saying that I loved vaping the GLAZ 6500 disposables and there are tons of positives. However, there are also a couple of issues with the performance. While these issues are minor they did take away from the overall enjoyment slightly.

Starting with the positives first though, the GLAZ 6500 provides a really decent amount of vapor. Just a few seconds of puffing results in a thick, dense cloud of vapor. Of the many disposables I’ve tried over the years it was definetely one of the best in terms of vapor production.

It also ticks all the right boxes when it comes to throat kick and nicotine delivery. Because it’s designed as a 50mg/ml nicotine strength disposable, each puff gives a really satisfying throat kick that helps to curb any cravings you might have.

For me personally 50mg/ml nicotine strength is a little too strong. I usually vape 20mg/ml nicotine strength when using a disposable with nic salts. With that being said, the throat kick on the GLAZ 6500 didn’t feel harsh or too strong like you sometimes get when vaping a higher nicotine strength e-juice.

It’s also an ideal nicotine strength for those who aren’t able to vape throughout the day and enjoy more of a session style of vaping. If you’re also looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping this sort of nicotine strength is probably ideal in order to curb those cravings.

When it comes to flavor production the 1.2 ohm mesh coil also performs brilliantly. I was lucky enough to receive 3 VAAL GLAZ 6500 disposables to test and each one of them provided crisp, clean flavors. The coil also ensured a consistent taste throughout each disposables lifespan with no burnt or dry hits received.

The only time the flavor production started to dip was at the end of each GLAZ 6500’s lifespan. Even then, the flavor only dropped off in around the last 100 or so puffs and still tasted nice. I’ve vaped disposables in the past that started to provide a sub-par taste at about the halfway mark but the GLAZ 6500 does a great job of delivering flavorful draws until the very last drop of e-juice!

Probably my favourite thing about the VAAL GLAZ 6500 though is the battery capacity and total lifespan. As a heavy vaper I typically puff every few minutes for large portions on the day. Despite this, each of the GLAZ 6500 disposables I tested lasted for around 9 full days of vaping!

This incredible lifespan makes the VAAL GLAZ 6500 an extremely convenient disposable to vape on. Gone are the days of needing to buy a 600 puff disposable for each day of the week! It’s also worth remembering that I’m a heavy vaper. I’d guess a light – medium vaper would get around 2 weeks or possibly even more from the GLAZ 6500.

The 650 mAh rechargeable battery also performs brilliantly and provides just over 2 full days of vaping in between recharges. As I mentioned before the GLAZ 6500 also comes with pass-through charging which is super convenient.

In total the device can be recharged 3 times to allow for around 9 days of total vaping time before the 13ml of e-juice runs dry. You’ll know it’s time to recharge when the colored LED on the bottom of the GLAZ 6500 flashes 10 times slowly.

When you put it on charge another LED stays lit in a bright red color to let you know the device is charging. Once the device is fully charged this LED goes out. The Type-C USB charging port is rated at 0.5A and all told it takes around an hour and a half to fully recharge the VAAL GLAZ 6500.

Where the GLAZ 6500 lets itself down slightly is in the placement of the airflow hole and the issue of e-juice seepage. It’s a personal bug bear of mine when a vape product leaks. Best case scenario it leaves you with slightly sticky hands, worst case scenario it ruins your clothes and/or furniture.

Unfortunately I experienced the issue of e-juice leaking from all 3 of the GLAZ 6500 disposables I tested. Fortunately though none of the 3 I tested leaked excessively, but it still happened frequently enough to become a bit of a pain in the backside.

Where this minor issue became a bigger problem was in the fact the e-juice seepage seemed to affect the airflow and auto-draw response. Because the airflow hole is placed directly under the e-juice and coil, any excess e-juice runs straight out of the airflow hole and onto whatever is under the device at the time.

At times the airflow hole became blocked with excess e-juice which in turn caused the GLAZ 6500 to auto fire without actually drawing on the mouthpiece. I also found that the draw became affected by this issue and several times I was met with a frustrating gurgle when trying to puff on the device.

It’s a real shame that the leaking e-juice caused these further problems, especially to the draw on the GLAZ 6500. I actually loved the tight MTL draw and when it worked well it was the perfect MTL draw for me personally.

Overall though the VAAL GLAZ 6500 performed well. The vapor production was excellent and the coil delivers crisp, clean and consistent flavor from start to finish. The battery capacity and overall lifespan of each GLAZ 6500 also blew me away!

If it weren’t for the issues I experienced in terms of leaking, gurgling and the device occasionally auto firing I’d give the GLAZ 6500 an almost perfect score on performance. As it stands these issues were minor enough to not take away from the overall enjoyment too much.

VAAL GLAZ 6500 | Flavors

One of the things I liked best about vaping the VAAL GLAZ 6500 disposables was the incredibly mouth watering flavors. In total there are 12 delicious options available:

As you can see there are some really delicious sounding flavors in the range. I also love that there’s a great amount of variety and something to suit all tastes. We were lucky enough to be sent the following 3; Mango Fanta Lemonade, Pineapple Coconut Kiwi Apple and Vanilla Chocolate Ice Cream.

Of course taste is subjective but the GLAZ 6500 disposables delivered some of the best flavors I’ve tried this year! I’ll give a brief description of the 3 flavors I tried below and do my best to describe them.

Mango Fanta Lemonade

From literally the first puff I knew this was going to be an all-day vape for me! The Mango Fanta Lemonade absolutely bursts with full bodied fruitiness.

Easily my favourite of the three flavors I tried and one that really lingers on the taste buds. I couldn’t really pick out the individual mango flavor, instead there’s a medley of tropical fruity flavors that explode on the inhale.

There’s also a really subtle fizz that hits the back of your throat and compliments the overall flavor well! This is definetely a flavor I’ll be revisiting in the near future.

Pineapple Coconut Kiwi Apple

The Pineapple Coconut Kiwi Apple is another flavor that bursts with a real medley of tastes. On the inhale the pineapple and coconut really come through with the kiwi and apple flavors being more subtle.

It’s a flavor that gave me serious beach vibes and made me yearn for a cocktail in the sun! Just like the previous flavor, I found this one hard to put down. Easily another all-day vape for me!

Vanilla Chocolate Ice Cream

Before trying this flavor I had my doubts…. I’m not usually a lover of the chocolate flavors. With that being said, VAAL have absolutely nailed the chocolate in this blend.

It actually tastes authentic and balances really nicely with the vanilla.

On the exhale the ice cream provides a nice smooth taste that leaves you wanting more. While it’s not personally an all-day vape for me, it’s an excellent blend and one I’d happily vape on again.

Overall I was incredibly impressed with the VAAL GLAZ 6500 flavors I tried. Having sampled 3 of these flavors it’s clear to me that VAAL have put a great deal of time and effort into creating unique blends that will appeal to a wide range of vapers.

I can say with certainty that I’ll be purchasing myself the other 9 flavors in the very near future!

VAAL GLAZ 6500 | Price

At the time of writing the VAAL GLAZ 6500 has a retail price of $19.99. This is a fairly typical price for a rechargeable disposable but by no means the cheapest we’ve seen.

With that being said, the unique design and incredible flavors really set the VAAL GLAZ 6500 apart from a lot of the competition. On top of this the GLAZ 6500 would probably last the average vaper almost two full weeks. The $19.99 price tag still pales in comparison to the cost of smoking over two full weeks!

Even compared to popular single-day disposables the GLAZ 6500 works out much cheaper over the long run. As well as this I’m sure there’ll be online shops offering great discounts on the GLAZ 6500 in the near future so it’s worth keeping your eyes open.

Overall I was really impressed with the VAAL GLAZ 6500 disposables. While there were certainly a couple of minor issues I had a fantastic time vaping on them. What made an impression on me was the several key things the GLAZ 6500 does extremely well!

One of the biggest positives of the VAAL GLAZ 6500 is the exceptional battery life. Despite puffing frequently each of the GLAZ 6500’s lasted over 2 full days in between recharges. If you’re a light vaper you could probably get 4 days out of a full charge.

The incredible lifespan was also a standout feature along with the really delicious and varied flavors available. Add to this brilliant vapor production and consistent flavor with no burnt hits and the VAAL GLAZ 6500 lives up to the majority of the competition.

If it weren’t for the leaking issues I experienced and the knock-on problems this caused I would have rated the GLAZ 6500 disposables as one of the best I’d ever vaped on. As it stands they’re still much better than the majority of disposables I’ve tried and certainly worth a try. I know I’ll be revisiting this disposable soon and trying the other 9 flavors in the range!
