SMOK Majesty Luxe Edition Starter Kit Preview

A PREVIEW of the SMOK Majesty LUXE Edition – Just as we predicted, SMOK is quickly converting their best-selling Box Mod Kits into slightly modified (exterior colors and finishes mostly) editions and substituting the original sub-ohm tank with their new, top selling Sub-Ohm Tank, the TFV12 Prince (reviewed here, available here).

It’s hard to believe that our review for the Resin (reviewed here) and Carbon Fiber (reviewed here) Majesty Kits were published in late November, just 3 months ago, but beginning last week, most vendors began stocking the Luxe Edition.

The SMOK Majesty Kit may be the latest conversion to Luxe, but it certainly won’t be the last. Can a SMOK Alien or ProColor Luxe Edition be far behind?

There are a lot of things that Chinese manufacturers do that scream “for profit only”, and I wouldn’t blame you for being cynical about SMOK taking Mod Kits like the Majesty, and the G PRIV 2, and sending them out with the Prince Tank to upsell customers. However, despite new colors and finishes, and a far superior sub-ohm tank, retailers like Element Vape are NOT charging more for these Kits, they are being sold for the same price as the Kits were when released with an X-Baby or Big Baby sub-ohm tank.

For Vapers that didn’t bite when the carbon fiber and resin edition Majesty Mods landed on vendor shelves, the new Majesty Luxe edition should be enough to tempt. Specs and features may not have changed, but the new, sometimes gorgeous new colors and finishes on the Mod itself are themselves tempting enough, but including the Prince? A no-brainer really.

The SMOK Majesty 225W LUXE Edition Starter Kit is a high-end retread of the first round of Majesty 225W mods. Elaborate and luscious new looks for the Majesty, plus the TFV12 Prince Sub-Ohm Tank, breathes in new life for this particular mod.

The SMOK Majesty LUXE Edition features a better premium plating in a wide range of new colors and new options like the carbon shell (Carbon Fiber version) and a special Black Cobra Resin edition. (Resin version). Unfortunately, this new black cobra edition won’t be easy to find.

The SMOK Majesty 225W TC Box Mod is one of SMOKTech’s  advanced devices and continues to use the popular side-panel firing scheme. The Majesty 225W TC Box Mod has integrated the latest technology, along with a truly customizable and user-friendly colorful OLED screen that provides all the essential data at a glance.

Powered by an advancement in proprietary chipset capability, the Majesty LUXE has a maximum output of 225W, a sophisticated temperature control suite with additional Memory slots for increased customized vape experiences.

We spent a lot of time with SMOK Majesty, as well as a lot of time with the TFV12 Prince tank, so a review will not take long. However, just because we have spent time with the original Majesty mods, we cannot base a review for the Luxe Edition without spending a week with it. You’ll probably see reviews for this new Luxe Edition before we publish our own, but any honest review takes time, and we won’t climb out on a limb and make assumptions for any new product.
