The Geek Vape Illusion Sub-Ohm Tank and Geek Vape Illusion Sub-Ohm Mini Tank, both available now at Element Vape for $29.95 and $27.95.

The Geek Vape Illusion Sub-Ohm Tank is, at first glance, a high performance sub-ohm tank of the well-known Geek Vape family, and we expect no real surprises when the actual review process begins.

Although we expect big performance from both models, they are unassuming in design. As you can see from the photos provided, its outward appearance is familiar, almost ordinary for a modern sub-ohm tank. A short Delrin wide-bore drip tip, a top cap that is removed for filling and refilling its 4.5mL or 3mL juice capacities, and large dual airflow slots at the base of the tank, all fairly unremarkable in appearance. However, it is in the craftsmanship that make Geek Vape tanks so inviting. Smooth threading, meticulous machining, and the highest-grade materials are all hallmarks of Geek Vape products.

We believe the Geek Vape Illusion sub-ohm tanks will shine with the new i4 Coils, said to bring out extraordinary flavor and massive clouds of vapor. Our experience with Geek Vape tanks has been, for the most part, excellent, and the coil structures of the new coils look promising.

or WISMEC Reuleaux RX300, the ‘flagship’ i4 Quad-Coil for the full-size Illusion tank has a resistance of 0.15ohm with a wattage range of 50W to 260W. Another coil head, the i1, is included in the full-size tank, also with a resistance of 0.15Ω, but as a single-coil the wattage range is 50W-180W. As far as we know right now both coils in the full-size and mini are Kanthal and Organic Cotton.

Geek Vape Illusion Mini

The Geek Vape Illusion Mini Sub-Ohm is not just a smaller version of the full-size model, holding 3mL of eliquid, there are other differences as well. Geek Vape has created the iM4 and iM1 coil series. The 0.15Ω iM4 Quad-Coil is rated at between 50-120W, with a recommended 60-80W variance. The 0.5Ω iM1 is a single coil, rated between 40W and 70W. In addition, Geek Vape has decided to offer an optional RBA head for the Mini model, but from what we can tell at this point, the full-size Illusion does not.

Both the full-size and mini Geek Vape Illusion Sub-Ohm tanks are offered in stainless steel and black.
