I’m not so sure that I can embrace the new normal of the vape juice (eliquid) industry is headed. Take the brand we are reviewing today, Fruit N Custard. This 3-flavor brand is just one brand out of many owned and manufactured by Vapetesia.  (Sold through various outlets including Element Vape)

The Company website, the Facebook page, and all the other social media platforms you can find Vapetesia, say little to nothing about the company itself, and only serve to promote the brands they make. I find that chilling.

In addition to Fruit N Custard, Vapetesia is behind these other brands; Vape Parfait, Vape Goodies, Vape Lemonade, and Vape Hooch.

Vapetesia is out of Las Vegas, and the only words that give you any information about the parent company, Vapetesia, is their tag line “Premium Handcrafted Gourmet E-Liquid Since 2014”. Vapetesia is an LLC, formed Nevada. Although Handcrafted usually means, made by hand, it doesn’t indicate whether those hands are Vapetesia employees or a certified lab manufacturing facility’s hands.

Fruit N Custard Outsourced?

To be honest, I have no idea if Vapetesia has some sort of professional lab, labeling, and packaging operation of their own, or if in fact these ‘brands’ are outsourced to a multi-million-dollar manufacturing company. These outsourcing companies are making more and more of the top lines of vape juice these days, while more and more of the homebrewed lines are going out of business, or taking their recipes and turning them over to be outsourced.

There are many good reasons to outsource your eliquid to a company that has spent the money necessary to build facilities that will pass muster with the FDA, assure quality, safety, and follow the rules set out by the corrupt FDA. But in a way, I, and the rest of my team, feel the loss of some very good companies that could no longer compete and have since folded up and gone home.

Now, I cannot state this with any real certainty, as I indicated above, but I do believe Fruit N Custard, and the other brands by Vapetesia, are manufactured for Vapetesia.

But, really, does it matter to our personal vape experiences? I don’t think so. Hell, our next eliquid review, for Naked 100, is, I’m sure, set up the same way. Outsourced to a facility that can create great eliquids in total safety, and provide a selling price that makes 60mL bottles affordable. Fruit N Custard and Naked 100 have a many similarities, and both are remarkably good eliquids.

What all this outsourcing means anyway, is that the mom and pop vape juice company is being forced out, and some, hell, many, of these mom and pop shops deserve to be forced out. The ones that are still standing will probably, sooner rather than later, close up shop or outsource. (I hope my favorites outsource rather than disappear.)

Banana Custard was the first of the three that we started vaping. Within minutes we knew our individual 60mL bottles wasn’t going to be enough.

We vaped Banana Custard’s 60mL in just under 30 hours. We all concur that the flavor is a true rich ripe banana wrapped in silky, delicious custard. The combination is amazing, and it will be in our personal rotations for a very long while. 5 Stars from everyone.

We all agreed that this Mango Custard was the best tasting Mango flavored eliquid we’ve had in years, if ever. Pure, sweet and ripe mango flavor with just the right amount of custard to bring it to a deep, satisfying flavor of sweet mangos and sweet custard swirls. 5 Stars by everyone

 Honeydew Custard

 “Honeydew Custard by Fruit N Custard delivers a freshly-ripe melon whipped into a fluffy and rich custard base for a burst of flavor.”

Julia: 5 Stars – A for effort, but sometimes the best custard in the world won’t work with everything. While I adored the honeydew flavor, sweet, rich, and satisfying, the sweet custard weighed it down just a notch. Still delicious, but I won’t be buying it again.

Keira: 4 Stars – I enjoyed Honeydew Custard for a while, but soon it begin to feel like an unnatural flavor. Not artificial, just “not of this world” type of flavor. Honeydew is a flavor some love, some hate. I love the flavor, but I don’t want it drenched in thick sweet custard.

Jason: 5 Stars – Honeydew Custard is the best honeydew melon eliquid I’ve ever tasted. It was like taking the best, pure flavor of a honeydew melon, and soaking it in a thick custard pudding. Weird in a way, but it is now one of my favorites.

Tom: 4.75 Stars – All three of these flavors have the same custard base, which is delicious. But, some fruit flavors mix with custard better than others. I did like honeydew custard, but not enough to make it a part of my rotation.

Conclusion

Fruit N Custard offers three of the best flavors on the market today. However, these flavors are not completely original, or innovative. They don’t have to be either. They offer great flavor, and a great price for a 60mL glass bottle of a premium level vape juice. Right in line with other 60mL Choice Award winners like Kilo White and Kilo Black Series,
