A Staff Announcement from 2014
In July 2014, Spinfuel announced that Tony Brittan had joined the editorial team as a video contributor. The announcement placed his arrival within a broader effort to add more video work to the magazine.
The post also captured the size and ambition of the Spinfuel staff at the time. It named a growing group of writers, editors, and contributors and described a publication that was experimenting with new formats alongside its established written work.
What Has Been Removed
The original promoted video channels and distribution plans, made health-related claims, described future programming, named product categories, and embedded an external video. Those elements have been removed. They should not be treated as current guidance, current programming, or an endorsement of any creator, channel, or product.
Why Preserve It?
Spinfuel’s history includes the people who helped build it. This announcement records a real 2014 expansion of the magazine’s creative team and its move toward a broader editorial mix. That belongs in the Spinfuel Chronicles.
