Available Now at Element Vape at just $54.95, the SMOK G80 Full Kit features a single-replaceable 18650 battery box mod capable of delivering up to 80W of power, full TC suite, and the SMOK Spirals Tank, a Sub-Ohm Flavor Tank we’ve reviewed before. The SMOK G80 promises to be another winner from the manufacturer of such huge successes like the TFV12 Cloud Beast King, the 4x 18650 SMOK GX350, and the stunningly beautiful 4200mAh SMOK G150.
While we only just received the SMOK G80 last night, we can make certain predictions of what we hope to finalize by the time our review is complete.
About the SMOK G80 TC Full Kit Spirals Tank
The SMOK G80 TC Starter Kit could be the pocket-friendly vape machine you’ve been looking for. I wouldn’t expect huge clouds of vapor from the SMOK Spirals tank, but I can attest to the spectacular flavor you’ll get with your favorite vape juice. (and the clouds are not all that bad either).
The SMOK G80 is ergonomic, with a friendly feel in the palm of my hand. The SMOK G80 is a portable box mod, measuring just 75.5mm by 38.5mm by 26.5mm, or, just under 3” tall, 1.5” wide, and a tad over 1” deep, it’s all by accounts, a pocket mod, even with the Spirals tank attached.
There is a soft curvature to the SMOK G80, though not nearly as nice, or expensive looking as the incredible SMOK G150, but it fits comfortably in any hand.
The SMOK G80 uses an independent battery bay, unique for a SMOK device, and it allows users to slide off the top of the chassis in order to replace the single-18650 battery (not included). The OLED display is not the same one we’ve come to love in nearly all SMOK box mods, but while it may be a tad smaller, it still provides a user-friendly experience with a simple organization of essential information.
Using the newest “modest-wattage” chipset from SMOK enginners, the G80 has an output range of 6 to 80W, and a broad temperature control suite. As always, the SMOK G80 features all of SMOK’s safety protections.
When I thought about the pairing with the G80 Box Mod with the flavor tank, Spirals Sub-Ohm Tank, I didn’t think it through. At first I was disappointed, then I realized that because of the size, the single 18650 battery, and where and when the G80 would be used, I came around.
The Spirals Tank has a 2mL vape juice capacity that the user refills with a threaded top-fill system. The Spirals Tank Coil Structure is on the large size, using pure Japanese organic cotton with several wicking ports for fast saturation, preventing dry hits and scorched cotton.
The SMOK Spirals Flavor Tank includes the 0.6Ω Spirals Coil and 0.3Ω Spirals Coil. The Spirals Tank has been in use here at Spinfuel for months, and as the flavor tank in the SMOK lineup, it’s an ideal choice for the pocket friendly G80.
After a couple of hours of use I think the SMOK G80 Full Kit, at just $54.95 Element Vape, is going to appeal to a whole lot of Vapers looking for a terrific vape experience in a small package. Available in Silver, Black/Green, Black/Red, and Gold/Black, with matching Spirals Tank, I expect to report back with a solid A+ review, unless something comes up that distracts from my current usage.
