Available Now at Element Vape, the Sigelei Fuchai GLO 230W TC Starter Kit has not been used by our reviewers long enough to give our honest, plain spoken impressions. Although, I can say that so far, things are looking good. Available both as a Starter Kit, with an excellent sub-ohm tank, and as a standalone mod. Our Review will come shortly. In the meantime, here’s some initial findings and official information.

Our Fuchai GLO Preview

My desk is beginning to resemble a holiday light show. Nearly every dual-18650 mod in my current rotation features some type of LED feature, ready to wow bystanders with an array of colors and softly-lit radiance.

Which is all moot if the mod doesn’t vape well. Fortunately, we’re confident that Sigelei’s Fuchai GLO 230w box mod will indeed offer a proper, high-powered vape experience. Let’s take a closer look at what Sigelei is bringing to … um … light.

With a size and format very similar to its existing – and extremely popular Fuchai 213, it’s clear Sigelei isn’t trying to fix what isn’t broken. However, the appearance of a shiny new chipset, capable of 230 watts of output suggests the company DID listen to the loud criticisms of the 213’s extremely erratic and unreliable temperature control performance – criticisms that weren’t exactly silenced with the updated Fuchai 213 Plus.

With the Fuchai GLO, vapers will enjoy 10-230 watts of power, full TC suite for Ni200, stainless and titanium coils, TCR and TFR adjustments, and puff power controls.

The full color OLED screen from the Fuchai 213 Plus makes a triumphant return, as well, ensuring all the vitals Sigelei fans enjoyed on previous editions are in play here. The screen is encased by the beloved zinc alloy construction, which is extremely durable, and one of the primary reasons so many Fuchai 213s remain in use today.

Interestingly, Sigelei is quiet on one other front – firmware upgrades. The mod will come with a MicroUSB cable, but we’re currently unclear if that’s just for onboard charging, or if this vaunted new chipset will allow for firmware enhancements – a feature SORELY wanted in the TC-starved Fuchai 213.

Oh yeah – the colors! Unlike other mods which use the LED lights as an enhancement to existing design choices, the Fuchai GLO has a tremendous glowing bar wrapping the entirety of the mod, near the base of the device.

With three device color choices – black, blue and pink – alongside this proposed “futuristic” light show, the Fuchai GLO is not likely to be subtle. But at first glance, the light show appears to be more “soothing” than “striking,” so hopefully the Fuchai GLO becomes a nuanced part of our collections, and not a gaudy showpiece suitable only for raves and dark alleys.

More importantly, we hope the Fuchai GLO addresses the inexplicable temperature control and upgrade problems from its predecessors. Those mods are extremely popular because of how well they vape, DESPITE the lack of reliable feature sets. Imagine if Sigelei solved these concerns with this new board? We could have a game changing device on our hands.

Plus, the price point seems to be REALLY competitive, with some online vendors, like Element Vape, offering the mod and the starter kit versions are truly impressive prices. Considering how many 213s remain in use today, the Fuchai GLO could serve to be a nice, low-priced upgrade for current fans of the series.

We’re expecting the Fuchai GLO to arrive any day now, and as soon as we put this potentially innovative new device through its paces, we’ll be back to report our findings. And yes, using the giant light bar to find our way through dark hallways WILL be part of our testing procedures.

Sigelei SLYDR M Sub-Ohm Tank in the Starter Kit Model

The SLYDR M Sub-Ohm Tank is the slightly smaller version of the SLYDR L Tank, with a 23mm diameter chassis and a 2.8mL juice capacity. The SLYDR M features a Sliding Top-Fill System, light-up O-Ring design, and a versatile coil family. Included in each starter kit model is the 0.4ohm SM2 Single Cylinder Coil (wattage range of 40 to 75W) and a 0.2ohm SM6 Triple Cylinder Coil with a maximum wattage of a 120W. The Airflow enters the tank through two large bottom air slots, by way of a ball-bearing airflow design for precision adjustment. In early tests, this sub-ohm tank has been providing magnificent flavor and an abundance of vapor.
