The CETO Pod Mod

There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t receive a new Pod Mod to review. We won’t review them all, we couldn’t possibly, so we try to select the pod mods that we can see people actually enjoy using. Such is the Rincoe CETO pod mod. Small, designed to be used (best) with nicotine salt e-juice, and definitely user-friendly. Available in 5 colors, for less than $25 at Element Vape, this is one of those “card style” pod mods with enough power, faithful flavor fidelity, and decent vapor production, to make it worth owning one.

RINCOE CETO POD MOD REVIEW

Granted, the Rincoe Ceto is an Ultra-Portable Kit that is ergonomic, and an all-in-one pod system, but with features like an internal 370mAh rechargeable battery, a bottom-fed 2.0mL capacity e-juice cartridge, and a textured grip that adds a touch of elegance to its small frame.

The Rincoe Ceto is capable of outputting 3.3 volts to produce fine flavor and vapor from its the 2mL pod made for nicotine saltsby way of its bottom-filled refillable pods. For vapers looking for a quick nicotine fix, the Ceto makes it easy. It’s small enough to slip in most any pocket and remove for a couple of quick hits, then slipped back in with no one the wiser.

Most Pod Mods this year function pretty much the same, and after testing more than 40 devices I can honestly say that what sets them apart more than anything else are two things; personal aesthetic tastes, and whether or not the device uses prefilled pods or allows the vaper to use whatever e-juice they want. With the Ceto you’re buying the latter, a device that will allow you to make your own choice about which nic-salt or freebase nicotine e-juice you want to use, and in my humble opinion, it’s the way to go. Prefilled pod mods lock you into the manufacturers e-juice, and no matter how attractive or how good it performs, without choice, well, it less appealing.

The Rincoe Ceto Pod System is small, and oh-so slim it’s about as stealthy as you can get. Additionally, the Ceto features several built-in protections, including Low Voltage Protection and Short Circuit Protection, avoiding potential misfires and/or mishaps. It also features an LED indicator light that clues the user in on the battery life, so you’ll know ahead of time if a recharge is coming up.

There has been such a flood of pod mod systems this year that choosing one is becoming more and more difficult. As I said above, it seems to me that personal aesthetics and the freedom to use whatever e-juice the user wants take precedence. Sure, there are pod mods with more power, and pod mods that are bigger, but from a performance standpoint, they all function pretty much the same. Choosing the right one for you boils down deciding if you want a locked in system, stuck with the e-juice the manufacturer decides to use in their pods, or one where you decide. You can also decide if you want something stealthy, something with a larger battery, and several other choices. As far as the Rincoe Ceto goes, this is one I decided to keep charged, filled, and next to my car keys.

I vape much more powerful mods and sub-ohm tanks, but when I have to jump in the car and run to the store or a meeting, it’s the Ceto I shove in my pocket. For under $25, it’s a remarkable value… just not the only remarkable value for pod mod systems. Because of that I don’t see an end to the continuous release of new ones anytime soon. But for now, the Ceto is a good bet.
