For a practice that’s so focused on relaxation and enjoyment, vape manufacturers sure have embraced the idea of speed. First, the recent YiHi SX chips had a speedometer/tachometer-styled wallpaper design for its devices, and now the Rev-Tech GTS seems to have taken the racing-influenced design to another level.

Of course, from a company named “Rev-Tech” I suppose we shouldn’t be that surprised.

Regardless of your need for speed, there’s no doubt the upcoming dual-18650 GTS 230-watt mod is one attractive customer. With a gargantuan front display, complete with an automotive feel, the GTS fits right in with current design trends, while also featuring an ergonomic, concave grip design for optimal comfort in either hand.

Mind you, this ergonomic design is built around a substantial 94 x 55 x 32mm frame, meaning the GTS is hardly a miniature, stealth-focused device. But given the chosen design aesthetic and sheer power, I’m not sure that was ever the intention.

A Rev-Tech GTS 230W Introduction

Based on the company website, the massive GTS screen is entirely digital, with several customization options available to personalize the look and feel. And custom “paint jobs” allow users to further craft the display.

Available in three surprisingly subdued color choices, the zinc alloy GTS also features an oversized, textured fire key, three side-mounted adjustment buttons, a USB charge and upgrade port, and a slightly offset 510 connection to further contribute to its unique looks.

But does the GTS’s engine match the frame? According to its specs, there should be more than enough horsepower under the hood. With a 230-watt maximum wattage output, 600-degree Fahrenheit limit in temperature control mode, bypass mode, six TCR memory slots, and preheat customization, the GTS appears to be a thoroughly modern vape mod for high-wattage enthusiasts.

Rev-Tech has said little about the proprietary Venom chipset and operating system for the GTS mod, so the jury is out on whether or not this device will live up to specs. But the company is putting this power-focused board to work on all three of its current mod offerings – none of which come in below 100-watt capability.

Besides, this UK-based company is a relatively new entrant into the crowded mod manufacturing space, so we’re excited to see how the GTS performs when compared to more established names.

We expect to receive the Rev-Tech GTS 230W mod in the next week, and will have a detailed review of this high-octane newcomer shortly after.
