The iJoy Captain PD1865 225W TC Starter Kit wants to be the new flagship of iJoy, using the Captain PD270 body to introduce a dual-18650 model along with the Captain Sub-Ohm Tank, or RDTA.
The Captain PD1865 225W TC Box Mod features a similar structure of the original PD270, using a center vertical display and carbon fiber side panels for a true showcase piece of vape gear.
About The iJoy Captain PD1865
Powered by dual high-amp 18650 batteries (sold separately), the Captain PD1865W uses an advanced chipset with a maximum output of 225W with a full temperature control mode and effective fine-tuning settings. The OLED display is arranged centrally, featuring a neatly organized section of essential readouts. iJoy has designed the new model to compete with the most sophisticated and powerful starter kits in on the market, but will it?
The Captain Sub-Ohm Tank is built on a 25mm base, with grooved notches located below the e-juice reservoir and right above the coil placement. This result is supposed to be a reduction in heat transmission and to helps prevent the box mod from heating up during extended use.
The tank capacity is 4mL, accessed by a threaded top-fill design. The atomizer core uses a thread-less coil head from iJoy. This allows coils to be replaced almost on the fly. Simply open the structure and remove the coil head.
The Tank includes a 0.3ohm CA2 Dual Coil Head with an output range of 60 to 80W, and the flagship 0.15ohm CA8 Octuple Coil Head with a maximum capacity of 120W.
The Captain PD RDTA
The iJoy RDTA 5S features a two-post, dual terminal design with a combination of side and top mounted Phillips screws for larger thread points and more secure attachment. The gold-plated positive post and 510-connection ensures solid conductivity, and spacious chamber clearance for high-power coil builds.
The iJoy Wondervape 24mm RDA presents a dynamic dual airflow system while using a horizontal two-post, dual terminal design within a crafted 24mm base. The internal chamber integrates a horizontal two-post, dual terminal per post design in staggered formation to accommodate a wide array of complex coils, as well as large coils. The Wondervape 24mm RDA deploys a dual airflow system with fixed bottom air slots that redirects upward and into the chamber through two air tubes on each side of the structure, similar to the Kennedy-style. The direct side airflow is fully adjustable by using the knurled top cap, providing ample cooling properties when set at high-power configurations.
