The Council of Vapor Voyager 80W TC Starter Kit is a compact system available, consisting of the CoV Mega Volt 80W Mod and paired with the Voyager Sub-Ohm Tank. This is important just in case some Vapers might think that the “Voyager” is a new box mod, when in fact it is the Tank that goes by that name, and including the 80W Mega Volt, the two together form the Voyager Starter Kit. This combo kit is priced at just $44.95 at Element Vape. While available in both a stainless steel and black, and an all Gunmetal finish, it is the stainless steel and black that caught my eye.

The CoV Mega Volt 80W Mod

The CoV Mega Volt 80W measures just 60mm by 39mm by 24.5mm, a very compact mod to pack that much power, and made with a superb zinc alloy and features soft contours with dual color scheme and carbon fiber inlays. While this is only a Preview at this point, I can say that I’ve used the mod for a couple of days now, and it is definitely an attractive mod and tank.

Once again equipped with Council of Vapor’s ‘proprietary’ chipset, the Mega Volt is an sophisticated, capable mod that includes a complete temperature control suite, with support for Ni200 Pure Nickel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel heating elements, along with the 80W output.

On the download, but to be expected, the Mega Volt 80W uses a built-in 20500 battery, with 1750mAh capacity. CoV claims an extended battery life for such a small form factor. Our review process will delve deeper into this claim as we progress. The Mega Volt 80W can be fully charged in 30 minutes by way of its V3 charging port.

The Mega Volt uses an oversized firing button, along with the adjustment button and its OLED display. Early results indicate that while the Mega Volt might be too small for some Vapers, most will enjoy the tiny form factor. Though battery life will be a critical factor in the decision making process.

The CoV Voyager Sub-Ohm Tank

The other part of the Starter Kit is the Voyager Sub-Ohm Tank, which features a miserly 2mL juice capacity. It is filled by way of a retractable sliding top-fill method. The Voyager Sub-Ohm has a stealthy dual bottom airflow control, and the usual CoV attention-to-performance Coil structure. This Coil structure is geared for optimal flavor output rather than sporting huge clouds of vapor.

The Voyager design includes a knurled top cap, and a Delrin wide-bore drip tip, giving the tank a sturdy, hardy look.
