WISMEC Predator 228 and Elabo Sub-Ohm Kit Preview
Upon hearing that a new box mod was coming from WISMEC, did you expect it to be another Jaybo design? I did. However, the new, and excellent, Predator 228 box mod was designed by “sinuous designs” in the US. Manufactured by WISMEC of course, this delightfully looking mod will be powered by dual (and replaceable) 18650 hi-amp batteries, and sport a maximum output 228W and 50A.
When used with the WISMEC Elabo sub-ohm tank, this nicely matched pair should be able to produce voluminous amounts of clouds, and the flavor fidelity is unexpectedly spot on. Element Vape will carry this Kit for just $64.95.
Other features worth pointing out at this point is the 2Amp quick charge, meaning those dual 18650’s should charge up in under an hour. It Has WISMEC Written All Over It
WISMEC has brought to market some innovative and undeniably cool features to their product line in the past. The latest of these is RC, or “reverse charging”, the ability of the Predator 228 box mod to become a battery pack to charge or run a wide range of electronic devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.) with the help of the optional adapter. While this power pack feature makes sense with the WISMEC Reuleaux RX300, we’ll reserve judgement for the review.
