The IPV Trantor mod is another new entry in the vaping marketplace from Pioneer4You. Not quite the head-turner as the IPV Xyanide Kit it’s still a fully capable mod running on the latest YiHi SX500A chipset. Powerful, capable, and durable, if the Xyanide was too “busy” for you, the Trantor might be just the thing.
The IPV Trantor has a small footprint yet has a maximum power output of 200 watts. Available in Black, Red, Gunmetal, Champagne, and Bronze, the gorgeous full color TFT IPS HD Screen and front panel oversized firing button make this new mod one of Pioneer4You’s most anticipated new devices. At least that’s what we’re hearing anyway.
Advanced YiHi SX500A Chipset.
The Trantor is equipped with the newest YiHi SX500A chipset. Powering 200 watts with just two 18650 batteries, the user can customize the Trantor mod like never before, including custom wallpaper. The IPV Trantor gives you 10 options and it has 8 LED color options that you can use or turn off.
The IPV Trantor allows for firmware upgrades with the included USB cable, Anti-Dry Burn capabilities, full Temperature Control for SS316L, NI200, Ti O1, SX Pure, and of course Manual TCR. Resistance range is 0.15-ohm to 3-ohm.
LXV4 Sub-Ohm Tank
With the Kit option, the Trantor is accompanied by the new LXV4 Sub-Ohm Tank. This is a 2mL tank for compliance of the TPD, all stainless-steel, 510-threaded, and sized at 26x47mm. So far the flavor and vapor have been outstanding, though the 2mL capacity is never a joy to have, and reminds me again how stupid the EU/UK laws are. In the short time I’ve used this Kit I’ve filled the tank more than 15 times. By the time all is said and done, I’m sure it will be more than 50 times. Compare that with the 7.5mL Resa Prince, and you can see why some US users may not want a 2mL tank, no matter how good it is.
I plan on using the Trantor Mod with several more Sub-Ohm Tanks, including the Resa Prince, and some other high-wattage tanks as well. The Trantor can certainly handle the tanks, and with a width of 26mm most of the tanks will fit fairly well, but we’ll see.
With just a few short hours of use, the HD display is truly a standout with a clean and crystal-clear screen displaying all the information the user needs to fine tune a vape experience.
