Anyone have a crystal ball? Well, no worries if you don’t, because I have a preview of our year-end “best of” lists (2020 of course) — the Dovpo Ohmage sub-ohm tank will be near the top. Yeah, that’s a bold statement for the first week of January 2020, but just a few weeks after claiming “Dovpo has had a hell of a year” it’s clear that 2020 is going to be just as good for the veteran vape company.
Why?
Because if there are 10 other tanks that outlast this amazing marriage of performance and value, 2020 is going to be an amazing year for vapers across the world.
Here’s the Propaganda Details
In collaboration with Mr. JustRight1, the DOVPO Ohmage Sub-Ohm Tank deploy the industry’s first Dual Stacked mesh coils with plug ‘n’ pull mechanism. Plus, a precision airflow control ring, and a beautiful designed knurling structure reminiscent of medieval castle ramparts.
Construction
Formed from superior stainless steel, the chassis of the Ohmage Tank is impact-resistant while easy to handle thanks to the extensive knurling. In addition, the bubble glass tank can hold up to 5.5 mL of today’s most popular e-juice.
Filling the Ohmage
Featuring a quarter turn top refill system, the Ohmage top cap reveals two large fill ports beneath the heavily knurled top cap. At the base of the Ohmage Tank, two sets of incrementally larger sized airholes can be adjusted to control the amount of airflow rushing through the internal mesh coil structure.
Installed in a plug ‘n’ play fashion, the mesh coil clocks in at 0.27ohms and its mesh material creates an even and rapid heating pattern for the coil.

Aesthetics of the Dovpo Ohmage Sub-Ohm Tank
It’s difficult for any vape tank to really stand out these days, but the stainless steel Ohmage does just that, with a burly, industrial exterior and one of the nicest tapered resin drip-tips we’ve seen. It’s roughly the same height as most of its competitors, but the Ohmage’s slightly raised midsection and clever use of cutouts allows it to gather some attention on shelves.
Ohmage is EU and US Standard
The Ohmage comes with a standard 2mL straight glass section installed, and as expected, it’s a little limiting for heavy sub-ohm vaping. But the included 5mL bubble glass is a much better alternative, not only for capacity but also for the looks of the device. Plus, since the glass is quartz-reinforced, there’s less worry about tips and drops, which is always a concern with bubble glass.
If we have ANY concerns about the Ohmage design, it’s the “quarter-turn” top cap, which seems almost spring-loaded, and pops off way too easily when trying to refill. If only using the Ohmage at home, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem, but (and trust me on this) it’s a real nuisance to keep dropping top caps when out and about.
Vaping the Ohmage (and the Amazing Value of Stacked Mesh Coils)
Those specs above aren’t a misprint — Dovpo included five (!) stacked mesh coils in the box, giving vapers a serious amount of vape time without having to purchase refills. And not only are the included coils a generous inclusion, but they’re also some of the tastiest, longest-lasting heads we’ve seen in a long while.
Though we couldn’t really notice much of a performance difference between the 0.2- and 0.16-ohm coils, we just LOVED that they’re rated for relatively low wattages, which leads to longer coil life and more consistent flavor throughout. Each of the included heads has lasted me nearly two weeks of steady vaping before starting to fade, and even then, they were still perfectly adequate.
Stacked Mesh Advantage in the Ohmage
The advantages of stacked mesh coils aren’t really clear to me, but I DO know they work right out of the gate. With a little priming, the heads break in ridiculously well, delivering top-tier flavor and vapor production in record time. They may not be QUITE at the level of the HorizonTech Falcon heads, the Ohmage coils are damn close… and with five of them included, we doubt you’ll argue.
And, with a “plug and play” installation design, not an ounce of e-liquid is wasted when changing coils. Overall, it’s just an effortless experience that delivers leak-free, flavor-first satisfaction. The ONLY concern we have ties into that same top cap — not only is it too easily removed, but there’s also a bit of condensation that builds up underneath.

Bottom Line
Yeah, Dovpo is on a serious hot streak over the last few months, and we don’t want to ever see it stop. The Ohmage is a lovingly put-together package that would represent a tremendous value for vapers, regardless of performance. But when you factor in how flavorful and satisfying the Ohmage is, the value improves tenfold. In our eyes, this is a must-buy for sub-ohm vapers seeking their next great tank.
