Based on identical design philosophy of Aspire’s famous Nautilus series, the Aspire Nautilus 2 brings the same mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping experience with supposedly improved flavor and airflow control. I say ‘supposedly’ because our shipment hasn’t arrived yet (2/25/17), but based on the level of enthusiasm we all had when the original Aspire Nautilus, and it’s smaller sibling, the Aspire Nautilus Mini, we’re hopeful. No. More than that, we’re confident Aspire has taken the past 3 years of vape technology improvements and applied them to the new Nautilus.
What We Know About the Aspire Nautilus 2
Well, first we know it looks incredible. The domed shape, the smooth sexy curves, and deep luscious colors, all point to one gorgeous tank. Some features from the original Nautilus remain, but version 2 looks nothing like the glassomizer it once was.
We also know that Aspire made the decision to bring the Nautilus 2 into TPD compliance by giving it just 2mL juice capacity. That said, with plus-own coils and very little wattage needed to power the tank, 2mL is going to last a lot longer than it would, say, in a 2mL SMOK Baby Beast.
Not to be distracted from the Nautilus 2, but we’re hearing good things about using the Nautilus 2 with the new Aspire Zelos Starter Kit. In fact, the kit comes with the Aspire Nautilus 2, so, yea, we expect good things.
Aspire Nautilus 2 Features

Aspire’s curvy Nautilus 2 is said to work as a mouth-to-lung tank much in the same way as the Kanger K Kiss Tank. The exceptional MTL vaping experience with the K Kiss Tank allows huge amounts of vapor and great flavor without the need for long deep direct lung hits. If the Aspire Nautilus 2 does, in fact, turn out to hit like the K Kiss I have no doubt it will exceed the popularity status of the original.
The Aspire Nautilus 2 features a preinstalled 1.8Ω BVC coil. With its bottom air flow design, fine-tuning your vaping experience will be every bit as nice as it was in the original. The reason is Aspire is using the same methodology for its airflow design, 5 differently sized airflow ‘holes’ that the user can cause a tighter, or a more relaxed pull much as users did with the original.
Using a shorter chimney shortens the length the air must travel, supposedly creating a better flavor experience, though we’re not sure how this will work with higher VG blends that are more in demand today than they were 3 years back when we reviewed the first Nautilus.
Lastly, Aspire’s replaceable coils are supposed to work with other Nautilus tanks, making the Nautilus 2 backward compatible with 3-year-old technology. That should be interesting to test out.
Nautilus 2 tank comes in two finishes, Stainless Steel and Aluminum. Colors available are Silver, Black, Red and Grey.
Below are the official specifications and set features of the Aspire Nautilus 2. As soon as they arrive we’ll set out to put the tank through a series of heavy workouts and will provide a hands-on review as soon as we can. Please keep in mind that our reviewers spend about a week, sometimes a little more, to make sure that the products we review stand up, and have real value. Personally, I’m hoping for a good vape with the Nautilus 2. I’ve been reviewing the Kanger K Kiss these past week and if the Nautilus does deliver the same mouth-to-lung experience, I’ll be adding it to my vape gear collection right away.
