Introduction

Smoque Vapours Lemonade Delights Eliquid Review SPINFUEL VAPE MAGAZINESmoque Vapours creates a diversified portfolio of vape juices using only high quality, natural ingredients. Each time they send us eliquid for our team to review we can count on them being high-quality and safe. (more on the safety in a bit)

Smoque Vapours uses USP-approved PG, VG and food flavorings, and every bottle of e-liquid is 100% diacetyl-free, an important factor in modern vaping. The people at Smoque Vapours are they themselves vapers, and they create every blend as a vaper would.

How Smoque Vapours Creates

Smoque Vapours e-liquids start off with the slow extraction of flavors, and then the distillation of the flavors using fresh food and the finest tobaccos (for their awesome tobacco blends). This process takes time, but the results are unique, full-bodied flavors of e-liquids for every palate. No, not every blend of flavors is going to be a homerun with the team, or you, but with each blend we know that only the best ingredients were used and the creation was done by flavor experts.

Pre-Steeped for Your Vaping Pleasure

Another reason we enjoy reviewing vape juice from Smoque Vapours is there is never any need to open, shake, close, store in a dark room…for weeks. Before they arrive at your mailbox, or a vape shop’s shelves, their eliquids as fully steeped. Buy a bottle, open, and enjoy.

Quality Nicotine in Smoque Vapours

Smoque Vapours sources their nicotine from the one and only NicSelect;, a company known in the industry for producing the highest quality nicotine. However, if you’re on the TFN bandwagon, Smoque Vapours may not be for you. The nicotine Smoque Vapours uses in every blend is derived from organically grown tobacco plants. These organic tobacco plants exceed USP safety standards when it comes to purity.

Nicotine Strengths

If there is one area in whole ejuice creation where this review team is at odds with Smoque Vapours is the numerous nicotine strengths they offer their customers.

Smoque offers a 60% VG, 40% PG blend, as well as a 70% VG and 30% PG blend. Their nicotine strengths are 3mg, 6mg, 11mg 18mg and 24mg, or as some people say it, 0.3%, 0.6%, 1.1%, 1.8% and 2.4%. Naturally, they offer a zero-nic option as well. When the team reviews any eliquid brand we will vape 3mg nicotine, or zero-nic.

We’re okay with offering customers 18mg, and 24mg nicotine with their 60/40 blends if they are vaped in plus-ohm atomizers, but their higher VG blends are best vaped in sub-ohm territory, where 18mg and 24mg nicotine is too much in a sub-ohm tank.

We’re not suggesting that Smoque Vapours limit their nicotine choices, far be from us to suggest anything of the kind, but I would suggest they add a little text to their product pages stating that when vaping in sub-ohm tanks the amount of nicotine that reaches the bloodstream is a lot higher than vaping in 1.8 or 2.1 ohm clearomizers.

We’re just concerned that should a regular Smoque Vapours customer, and there are legions of them, buy 24mg nicotine to use in their plus-ohm e-cigarettes and they decide to get into some newer vape gear where sub-ohm rules the day, they could be in for a shock, or at worst, nicotine over consumption. Yikes! In any case, a warning about high nicotine levels in sub-ohm tanks would be nice to see.

Today’s Flavor Profile is Lemonade

Lemonade is not a flavor that everyone likes. For me especially, lemonade is way too tart. In an eliquid, the only way to tame lemonade is to sweeten it, and blend it with another flavor. Thankfully, Smoque Vapours did just that.

The Smoque Vapours Beverage Line ship in 60mL glass bottles for just $24.99. Each blend is offered in a full spectrum of nicotine levels, 3, 6, 1.1, 1.8, and 2.4 mg. The two lemonade blends in today’s review are sweet with some ‘tang’ flavors that vape great any time of the year.

The Lemonade blends in today’s review are; Blue Raspberry Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade, each blend shows off the talent of the mixologists creating these Artisanal creations. Both eliquids were Zero-Nic this time out, which made it easier for the team to use their normal gear.

Vape Gear Used in This Review

Julia: – There has been so much new gear come into the office since January 1st that choosing the gear to use in this review took time. For the box mod, I chose the new Gold Edition of the SMOK H-Priv,  along with the Gold SMOK TFV8 Big Baby   with the V8 Baby T6 coils  . These coils are rated at 40W to 130W, the optimal range is said to be 70W to 90W, and for these two lemonade flavors, both of which are 60% VG, 40% PG blends, the optimal wattage was 55W, well below the ‘optimal’ wattage as stated by SMOK.

Tom: I had my heart set on using the new eLeaf 200W QC Kit, which includes the monster performing Melo 300. But, learning that we were going to spend 3 days with a 60% VG vape juice, I decided not to go that route. Instead, I backed off a little, both e-liquids are zero-nic after all, and chose instead to go with my Vaporshark Switchbox   and the new Aspire Nautilus 2   equipped with 0.7Ω BVC-2 Coil Head. This coil is rated at 18-23W, and both e-liquids vaped well with just 20W.

Kiera: My choice for these two lemonade flavors was the SMOK Spirals Tank  equipped with their 0.6Ω coil. Rated for 18W to 35W, when used with my eVic Primo my optimal wattage was 35W.

Jason: We just got in the Aspire Zelos 50W Starter Kits  so I grabbed on for this review. It’s a small mod with the Nautilus 2 tank, and I equipped it with the 0.7Ω coil that comes with the kit. My wattage was 24W. While I am definitely a Direct Lung vaper, the Nautilus 2 was better than I imagined it would be, being a MTL tank for the most part.

The 2017 Spinfuel Choice Award Methodology

The Spinfuel VAPE Choice Award for 2017 is earned by an eliquid blends scoring 5 stars from all 4 members of the team. These 5 stars are based on quality of the ejuice, consistency with the brand’s official flavor profile, cloud production vs VG percentage, and the overall satisfaction of ‘the vape’.

Very few eliquids earn the Spinfuel VAPE Choice Award. Over the past several months however, our team has concentrated on publishing reviews of eliquid brands we believe deserve to be known to our readers.

Blue Raspberry Lemonade

Smoque Vapours Lemonade Delights Eliquid Review SPINFUEL VAPE MAGAZINE
A summer treat that is too tasty too resist; Blue Raspberry Lemonade is a must-have for the summer! Refreshing lemonade with a spin of blue raspberry flavor spirals into a sweet and sour treat. Your taste buds have been missing out on the vape of the summer!

Julia: 4 Stars – Okay, with Blue Raspberry Lemonade I’m dealing with two flavor components that I do not enjoy; blue raspberry, and lemonade. Needless to say, I won’t be adding this to my rotation or collection because it is not my kind of flavor profile.

However, based on the excellent quality of the ingredients, the cloud production from a 60% VG blend, and the accuracy of the official flavor description, this one gets a solid 4 stars. Only the ‘overall satisfaction’ was missing, and that was, of course, that each flavor component was authentic, and I don’t like them. If you do like this flavor profile then you will adore this vape juice.

Kiera: 5 Stars – I am so glad I chose the SMOK Spirals tank for this review. The Spirals Tank is a ‘flavor tank’, and this blue raspberry and lemonade blend was exquisite. Both sweet and tangy, this is a juice I will keep with me in the warm weather, and when I want to wake up my tastebuds. Vapor production was excellent for being 60% VG in a flavor tank. Bravo!

Tom: 4 Stars – For me it wasn’t so much the blue raspberry and lemonade blend, I liked it despite vaping it outside in 20 degree temperatures last week. Everything about this blend was spot on except for one thing; I was slightly disappointed in the cloud production. I know the blend is 60% VG and that I cannot expect huge clouds, and the Nautilus 2 isn’t the best choice for a huge cloud of vapor anyway, but taking all that into consideration, I just expected a ‘thicker’ vapor production. Blue Raspberry Lemonade seems thin, wispy even. Other than that, I enjoyed it quite the bit; especially the flavors.

Jason: 4.5 Stars – The lemonade flavoring used in this blend was just how I like it; both sweet and tart. I know some people like super sweet lemonade, but I prefer mine on the tangy side and this one delivered. My only issue was the Blue Raspberry, which has a real different ‘flavor notes’ than regular raspberry does, and that made me wish Smoque Vapours had went the route of red raspberry instead. Overall though, I dug this one.

Strawberry Lemonade

A cool and refreshing beverage concoction. This e-liquid will bring back those lost memories of lazy summers. The luscious flavor of fresh strawberries paired perfectly with sparkling notes of lemon. A sweetly smooth any-time vape.Smoque Vapours Lemonade Delights Eliquid Review SPINFUEL VAPE MAGAZINE

Julia: 4.75 – Strawberry Lemonade by Smoque Vapours is a very unique blend. I’m not sure why, but with Blue Raspberry lemonade I could taste lemonade, here it’s a lemon flavor, and a sweeter one than the other blend. That would be the sweet, ripe strawberry flavor, or maybe a different lemon flavoring. I enjoyed this one a lot more than the Blue Raspberry Lemonade, and I’m adding it to my collection for warmer days.

Kiera: 4.5 Stars – Everything about Strawberry Lemonade is as it should be; fresh ripe strawberries mixed with a sweet/tangy lemonade. I can enjoy this blend beautifully for about an hour, after that I’m done. And that’s why it loses half a star; it is not a flavor I can vape for a few hours. It’s what I call an ‘in-between’ vape flavor. Excellent, but it doesn’t carry on long enough.

Tom: 4.25 Stars – The one thing you notice right away when vaping a 60% VG blend at lower wattages is how much longer a tank will last than a vape juice with more VG and high wattages. I’d rather enjoyed that with both of these e-liquids, but with Strawberry Lemonade I did not feel sated for very long. Perhaps it was the zero-nic, that was Jason’s opinion when I discussed it with him, but I’m not sure. This sweet strawberry flavor, mixed with an authentic lemonade flavor left me wanting. Good stuff, great flavors, but not as satisfying as I hoped.

Jason: 5 Stars – I was surprised that the other members of the team did not give 5 Stars to Strawberry Lemonade. During our discussion period we went back and forth on many topics, and I tried like hell to get them to see that it was the excellent strawberry flavor blended perfectly with a sweet lemonade that made this blend unique, and delicious.

Vaping this one for 3 days, along with the Blue Raspberry Lemonade, in the Aspire Nautilus 2 gave me a new appreciation for low wattage vaping. Both eliquids are ideal for vapers who do not want to vape at 150W. I gave Strawberry Lemonade 5 stars because it hit all 5 criteria, including leaving me with a satisfied vape, even without nicotine.

Conclusion

No one would argue that Smoque Vapours doesn’t make excellent e-liquid. But more than that, these guys know how to blend flavorings to come up with some of the best juice anyone could vape. Look through our other reviews we did for Smoque and you’ll see that they can create great eliquids in every category.

Lemonade flavors may not have been the best idea for this team to review, but we all enjoyed both blends for various reasons, except me and the Blue Raspberry.

Winter may not be the best time to vape summer-tinged flavors like lemonade, but if you like tangy flavors with just a little sweetness, these two would make great choices. Buy Now
