A Cosmic Fog & Vape Box Celebration

When our partners over at Vape-Box (our favorite e-liquid subscription service) informed us that in May 2018 they would collaborate with one of the best-known e-liquid brands (Cosmic Fog Vapors) in order to expose their already burgeoning community of subscribers to this fantastic brand of juice, we wanted to sample some of Cosmic Fog on our own dime, to find out, to discover, why Cosmic Fog and Vape Box worked so well.

Cosmic Fog has their original name-sake selection of juices, as well as Lost Fog. We chose two flavors from each line in order to get a good idea about the overall quality of the brand and their creations, because, after 7 years of publishing Spinfuel VAPE, the number of times we wrote about Cosmic Fog is, well, never. The closest we got to it is when Cosmic Fog worked with Vaporfi on a couple of specialty eliquids, the last one being Grandma’s Dutch Apple Pie.

Some Very Fine Cosmic Fog E-Juice – A Vape-Box Review BY SPINFUEL VAPE

About Cosmic Fog

Cosmic Fog was founded in Orange County California, with a mission. That mission was to craft unique, thoroughly tested, high quality e-liquids that the vaping community would surely enjoy.

Cosmic Fog founders believes that each flavor should be a new and exciting experience for every user. Cosmic Fog Vapors spends an average of 7-10 months developing each flavor by combining their experience in the culinary world along with dedicated research in order to craft every blend into something unique.

The fact that each flavor is used by the mixologists and founders non-stop for weeks on end after the development of the new flavor ensures that it is to perfection but should also stand the test of time. Accordingly, those that vape Cosmic Fog should never have to experience Vapers Tongue.

Cosmic Fog Vapors believes each of their flavors must qualify as an all-day vape, and while reviewing these four we’re inclined to believe them. Below are the flavors we chose to examine and vape for two weeks, along with an honest assessment of each one.

These four picks from Cosmic Fog/Lost Fog gives us a good idea about why the best e-liquid subscription service, Vape-Box, would seek out this fine e-liquid company and create this delicious collaboration.

Cosmic Fog – Milk and Honey

Milk & Honey Features:

  • 60mL Glass Bottle
  • Dropper in Bottle
  • 70% VG
  • 30% PG
  • Made in USA
  • Available in 0mg, 3mg, 6mg and 12mg

Official CF Description: “Close your eyes and imagine a vape lighter than air. You see fields of puffy marsh mallows as far as the eye can see. The sky opens and sweet milk rains down. Open your eyes in time for the perfect note of rich honey to cap it all off. The land of milk and honey.”

Julia: “Milk” has become a big flavor in 2018, and when mixed with just the right partner, honey, churros, cinnamon, and others, it can become the backbone to an extraordinary vaping experience. Milk and Honey by Cosmic Fog is one such extraordinary experience.

On the inhale I taste a light, barely perceptible taste of sweet milk, a flavor that only intensifies on the exhale, layered with a deep, sultry 2018 honey flavoring that turns me into a slow-mo version of myself. Long, deep, luscious drags from my sub-ohm tank, followed by a never-ending flow of rich milk and honey flavors melting over my tastebuds and escaping from my lips.

Full of flavor and an enormous cloud creator, Milk & Honey by Cosmic Fog is undiscovered country for me. I think I’ll buy a condo there.

Cosmic Fog – Sonset

Cosmic Fog – Sonset Features:

  • 60mL Black Glass Bottle
  • 70/30 VG/PG
  • Dropper in Bottle
  • Made in USA
  • Available in 0mg, 3mg, 6mg and 12mg

Official CF Description: “A vape that can transport your body and soul to a spring time Fiji sunset. We started with a purée of Japanese Nashi pears and blended it with a French inspired Crème brûlée. The closely guarded recipe is then topped off with a generous portion of soft salted caramel.”

Julia: Don’t let the exotic fruit, Japanese Nashi pears, scare you away. This incredible eliquid does have a European flavor flair going on, but unlike European flavors of years past, this is combination of delicate flavors that work in ways I’ve never experienced before… and in a very good way. On a strong exhale from a low-resistance sub-ohm tank, such as the low-wattage but exquisite flavor maker, SMOK TFV12 Prince, the parade of flavors, beginning with a sweet pear, followed by a sweet crème brulee, and ending in a sensual taste a salty caramel,  Sonset is a sinfully delicious vape experience that will blow your mind.

Lost Fog – Neon Cream

Neon Creme Features:

  • 60mL Glass Bottle
  • All VG
  • Dropper In Bottle
  • Made in USA
  • Available nicotine: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg

Official CF Description: “The new sherbet flavor in The Lost Fog Collection will turn any night into an epic party. Orange, raspberry and lemon-lime all mixed perfectly in a sweet yet subtle cream and chilled to perfection. So, whether you need to cool down after a long night out, or just enjoy a blast from the past after a hard day, this spot-on rainbow sherbet will take you back and make your never leave, until you run out.

Julia: A good, sweet, flavorful sherbet flavored ejuice can create such a mindset that even to consider the idea of that some government somewhere wants to take away “flavor” from our eliquids and leave us only some disturbing version of tobacco, makes me angry enough to take to the streets and protest loudly. Neon Cream, a flavor that has many more fans than detractors, is that great sherbet ejuice. This all VG juice is not hard to fall for, and somehow Cosmic Fog’s Lost Fog has achieved a rich, full-bodied all-day-vape out of a pure VG formula.

Lost Fog - Dapple Whip

Lost Fog – Dapple Whip Features:

  • 60mL Black Glass
  • Dropper In Bottle
  • 40% PG
  • 60% VG
  • Made in USA
  • Available nicotine: 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg

Official CF Description: “Transport yourself to the county fair, minus the bearded lady. Dapple Whip improves upon the legendary carnival candy apple. Tart Granny Smith apples, submerged in sweet gooey caramel. For an added twist we completely cover your apple with layers of fresh whipped cream. Now only if we could deep fry it…”

Julia: Love, love, love, the sweet caramel in this amazing Dapple Whip concoction of flavor. My only two concerns are the 40% PG (perfect for plus-ohm coils though), and the tart granny smith apple flavor. While I enjoy vaping 60mL’s of this lovely juice, I prefer red apple sweetness and more VG, less PG for a low-resistance sub-ohm experience.

The thing about Dapple Whip is that it is a fine eliquid that, in my mind, could be better with more VG and a sweeter apple. But I know that for many Vapers, “sweet” is a not a unifying goal for all e-liquid flavors.

Conclusion

I applaud Vape Box for working with Cosmic Fog for their special May collaboration, and I hope they find themselves working together again soon. Although I’ve touched on only 4 flavors from Cosmic Fog/Lost Fog, I can definitely tell that this is a brand that will remain successful for a very long time.

As for Vape Box, you should already know that this is the e-liquid subscription I subscribe to and without want to do without. Whether you’re looking for an inexpensive exploration of some of the finest eliquids available with their Sampler Vape Box or looking for more with their 120mL+ Juice Lover’s Vape Box, or the ultimate experience of 120mL+ of fine eliquid and vape gear with the ever-popular Enthusiasts Box every month, there is a plan you’ll be happy with. More than happy with, you’ll find that there are more flavors to be had in a Vape Box than there are sands on all the beaches of all the world… or something like that.
