I’ve been fortunate enough to learn about the newest products coming for DeltaExtrax for a while now. Their new Lights Out Collection is an amazing collection of wicked powerful disposable vapes that you need to try for yourself.
Now I understand that some Delta THC users like different products, like DeltaExtrax gummy’s or PreRolls, or disposables like the Light’s Out Collection. And to be honest, I too like different delivery systems. As much as I like the new rechargeable disposable, the PreRolls are a reminder of the old days of lighting up a joint and relaxing to some Pink Floyd.
About the New Disposables
The Lights Out disposable is a completely upgraded disposable with a stronger formulation of super potent Live Resin. Each disposable is loaded with 2-grams of cannabinoid blends!
The Live Resin is just the start. Each Disposable features a proprietary blend of THCh, THCjd, THCP, Delta 8 THC, and Delta 10 THC. At the bottom of this review, I’ve written up a short description of these new THC formulas.
My First Lights Out was Strawberry Kush
Like the others in the collection, the Strawberry Kush Disposable has 2-grams of cannabinoid blends in a disposable device with premium Live Resin and a proprietary blend of THCh, THCjd, THCP, Delta 8 THC, and Delta 10 THC.
This prominent Indica strain, which traditionally are associated with more of a body high that makes you feel relaxed, has a musky strawberry taste.
This musky flavor embodies the rich, sweet flavor of strawberries in a unique fashion. You can expect that slight sedating, or relaxing, high felt in the body and the mind when using this disposable. I always try for an Indica strain when possible since people that suffer from various causes of chronic pain, it feels great to let your muscles unwind, and your mind to empty out. So peaceful.
The aroma from the indica strain is complex, to say the least. It has a slight scent of citrus, strawberries, and earthy pine. I know, “earthy pine”. I didn’t expect that, but then again, I certainly didn’t mind.
How to Use a Lights Out Disposable
I must be honest in my review. I’ve been reviewing products for 16 years, and I’ve always told the truth no matter what. Please don’t buy a Lights Out disposable and start taking hits from it right away. These small sized disposables pack a huge punch. Start slow.
Note: If you are, or were, a Vaper, you may have vaped in the style we call “Mouth-to-Lung”. That means taking the vapor straight into your lungs, and not in the manner people used to smoke cigarettes, i.e., a short layover in the mouth, then into the lungs.
Vaping this potent blend of Delta THC as a Mouth-to-Lung device will give you a throat hit that you will not enjoy. And you will most probably cough… hard. So, vape this device slowly, take the vapor into your mouth first, then bring it into the lungs. No throat hit, no coughing.
The Delta THC blend will hit your bloodstream in under 10 minutes. Take no more than two (2) hits from the disposable, then wait to see how it affects your senses before taking another couple of hits.
When you unbox your disposable, it will be about 80-90% charged already. Still, I urge you to charge it first (it takes a USB-C cable) so you get the full power of the battery.
My Way Around a Lights Out Disposable
I use several products from DeltaExtrax, and over the months I’ve used them, there are certain things I’ve learned about each product. For this one, this very potent disposable, I start off with a single hit, albeit a long one.
The vapor sits inside my mouth for a couple of seconds, then I gently pull the vapor into my lungs, and keep it there for 8-10 seconds. It takes no more than 2 hits for me to feel the wonderful relaxing effect of Indica.
This feeling of relaxation lasts about 2 hours. If I am inclined, I’ll take another couple of hits.
Before I get to the technical side of the Lights Out collection, let me repeat two vital things that will maximize your experience with these marvelous disposables…

What is THCh?
The THCh cannabinoid stands for Tetrahydrocannabihexol and is said to be 10 times more potent than THC. This is a natural, but rare occurring cannabinoid found in the Hemp plant. However, one important thing to note is that your body might not have a tolerance to THCh; therefore, it might present itself to you as a brand new type of high. This cannabinoid is very potent and has a unique entourage effect when combined with other cannabinoids. We recommend starting off slow when taking anything with THCh in it.
What is THCjd?
Another rare but natural occurring cannabinoid is Tetrahydrocannabioctyl (THCjd). The 3 “major” cannabinoids are CBD, CBG, and THC which have 5-carbon sidechains. However, THCjd has 8-carbon sidechains which makes it up to 19 times more potent than THC. Also, THCjd is considered to be a “minor” cannabinoid just like THCh; more “minor” cannabinoids are starting to emerge with longer carbon sidechains which creates more potent products.
What is Delta 8 THC?
Delta-8 THC is an isomer of CBD, is derived from hemp and CBD, and is a psychoactive cannabinoid that packs several benefits. The unique cannabinoid is different, chemically, from its close relative, Delta-9 THC. It only differs from a few atomic bonds. However, it occurs in small concentrations and is Hemp derived making it Hemp compliant because it contains less than 0.3% of Delta 9 THC as required under the 2018 Farm Bill.
What is Delta 10 THC?
Delta 10 THC is a cannabinoid extract from the Hemp plant. It’s very similar to Delta 8 THC in the way it’s made; however, the differences between Delta-8 and Delta-10 is the chemistry behind the molecular structure of the compounds. The term “Delta” indicates the double bond in a compound’s chemical structure. In the case of Delta-8 and Delta-10, the number that follows tells you where the double bond is located.
What is THCP?
THCP first begins as a substance initially formed as cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), known as the “mother cannabinoid” from which cannabinoids derive from. By the same token, TCHPA (Tetrahydrocannabiphorol Acid) becomes THCP and on its own it’s 33 times stronger than regular THC, which means its effects on the body are amplified.
What is Live Resin?
Live Resin is the process of extracting cannabinoids from frozen Hemp plants. This results in more potent cannabinoids that include a better flavor, and is a lot more closer to original extract. Our Lights Out collection includes this extraction process in the cannabinoids that we use.
