The DOTECO Tik20 is a much nicer 510 vape battery. Last week, we reviewed the DOTECO Tik10, a simple voltage 510-thread rechargeable battery for cartridge users. Whether for cannabis concentrates or CBD, these batteries are both affordable and reliable. Today, we’re examining the Tik20 510 battery, and this time, we are more than impressed.
Smallest Battery with a Display
The DOTECO TIK20 is a significant improvement over the TIK10, introducing new features like a full-screen OLED display without altering its compact form factor. It remains tiny but is now significantly more capable.
The DOTECO TIK20 currently appears to be a wholesale or OEM product. We are unsure of its retail price or who will be selling it. We anticipate it will become available at cannabis dispensaries, head shops, and potentially numerous other retailers where an easy-to-use 510-threaded battery would sell well.
The Doteco TIK20 In Detail
We may have mentioned this in our Doteco Tik10 review, but it bears repeating: anyone new to cartridge vaping often brings their cartridges home only to realize they lack a device to use them. For some reason, this detail often slips our minds when purchasing expensive cartridges, but becomes a pressing concern once we’re home.
For this reason, we believe the Tik10 and DOTECO Tik20 (as well as the TargetX) will become widely available wherever CBD or cannabis cartridges are sold. Given their size, they should be ideal “point of sale” products, displayed prominently at the register. Perhaps employees could even be trained to ask every cartridge customer, “Do you have a proper battery to use with your carts?” Chances are, the Tik devices will sell significantly as impulse buys, and customers will undoubtedly appreciate the reminder that attempting to vape a 510-thread cartridge with a large box mod is impractical.
What We Like about the Tik20
Preheating is remarkably fast. Like the Tik10, the Doteco Tik20 is ready to deliver vapor from your cartridges within a second or two.
Other features we found to be excellent include:

Directly under the fire button are the “+” and “-” buttons for adjusting temperature (voltage).

The puff-counter is as crucial to the user as the OLED display. For medical cannabis users, the puff counter’s ability to track dosage is invaluable. It helps ensure you are not overusing or underusing. We believe no other mini 510 battery currently offers a puff counter, which suggests Doteco invested considerable time in designing the Tik20 to be the most comprehensive and useful 510 battery on the market.
Temperature Control (variable voltage)
The voltage range spans from 1.8v to 4.2v, with each adjustment directly controlling the heat and power delivered to the cartridge. We often prefer to vape our cartridges a notch or two higher than normal to maximize vapor production and achieve warmer vapor. The Tik20 allows users to gradually increase voltage to find their personal sweet spot.
Like the Tik10, the Doteco TIK20 includes a lanyard, useful for keeping the device safe and secure. The TIK20 is small enough to fit into the smallest pockets or purses, making it perfect for travel or daily errands.
Like all new vape devices, the Tik20 utilizes USB-C for charging. The primary complaint we have with the Tik20, Tik10, and even the DOTECO TargetX is the exceptionally short USB-C cable provided.

Conclusion
What more can be said about the Tik20 that hasn’t been covered? The quality of this tiny, 4.2v 510 battery is excellent. It serves the user well with a long-lasting charge, fast USB-C recharging, and a reliable voltage current.
