For the past 3 weeks I have been a CBD Tincture, from a new CBD vendor called Urbul. I’m now ready to put forth my honest, straight-forward experience about the effectiveness of CBD in tincture form. If pain, inflammation, and many other ailments affect your daily life, this is an article you need to read.

As a chronic pain patient for more than 25 years I’ve sought out pain and inflammation medicines and herbal remedies for many years. Even the strongest prescription medications can only do so much, and the side effects of some of them do not outweigh the benefits. This led me to give CBD a try and it has completely changed the way I look at cannabinoids.

Additionally, and article on CBD Oil for PMR will prove to be enlightening as well

Wait… What is a CBD Tincture?

A CBD tincture is, in definition, a dietary supplement. It comes in a liquid form and (usually) has a very potent cannabidiol content. Tinctures are created by steeping CBD-rich hemp flowers in high-proof grain alcohol, then cooking over low heat for several hours.

That’s it in a nutshell. But there is much more to it.

Okay, so once the Urbul CBD Tincture is ready for use, it’s usually blended with a sweet tasting ‘carrier’ oil like blood orange flavoring or even peppermint. Unflavored CBD Oil can be very bitter, so flavoring is almost a must. It’s then bottled, labeled, and sold.

Note* Each CBD product created by Urbul is sent to a 3rdparty laboratory for testing. When you purchase any CBD from Urbul you get a report from the lab telling you everything about it; quality, purity, and more.

In the end, the CBD Tincture sold by Urbul is potent and pure, with a high CBD content, yet no more than 0.3% THC, the part of the cannabis plant that gets people high. (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Urbul CBD tincture is different from a cannabis tincture, which has all the cannabinoids including THC. A CBD tincture with less than 0.3% doesn’t get you high.

The Blood Orange 1000mg CBD Tincture I’ve been using contains less than 3% THC. The CBD pods I use in the Urbul CBD Pod Kit also contains less than 0.3% THC.

Using Urbul CBD Tincture

Using Urbul CBD Tincture for Anti-inflammatory and PainSince CBD tinctures are super-concentrated, it’s normally taken in small doses. Urbul CBD Tincture comes with a built-in mL dropper. Taking too much CBD won’t cause an overdose or cause any other problems, but if it’s taken in huge doses it’s basically a waste of money.

If a person finds they need more than the suggested dose it’s a simple matter of taking a few more drops until they can discover what dosage works. The thing about taking CBD Tinctures is that you’re not limited to dropping a certain mL under the tongue, although most do, including myself. (Urbul suggest 5mL twice a day)

Some CBD users will mix it with food or beverages. Users can add CBD Tinctures to soup, in salad dressings, cup of tea, and coffee. Most, as I said, take it sublingually, meaning underneath the tongue. Research suggests, and my experience supports ( I was taking a Fetnyl product called SubSys for more than a year this year, 4x 800-microgram a day… the pain relief was instant) , so nearly all substances taken sublingually are absorbed by the body faster than other oral methods.

Vaping a CBD eliquid, like those found in Urbul’s CBD Pod Mod Kits, is also an excellent way to get a proper dosage of CBD. And while I enjoyed my CBD vape mod, after using the tincture I decided to stay with the tincture. At least until someone can find a way to combine potent CBD with a High VG eliquid so I can get my huge vapor clouds AND CBD at the same time. That’s my dream anyway.

While dosing yourself with Urbul CBD tincture under the tongue, you will need to hold the CBD tincture under your tongue for a minute to a minute and a half, so as to allow it to absorb into the body before swallowing the rest. The soft membrane under your tongue allows for fast absorption.

Once taken the tincture will make its way to your external carotid artery and then through the internal carotid artery, and finally into your brain. Effects can start to take place in about 15 minutes. For Urbul’s CBD Tincture I get an onset of relief almost immediately. But, I need to explain how…

As someone with an autoimmune disease and someone in need of complete knee and shoulder replacements (both knees and both shoulders), and a 5thsurgery on my lower back, I constantly feel as though my entire body is being compressed from the inside, not to mention countless times a bone spur moves and with it,  a pain level that NOTHING will stop. 24/7 every inch of my body feels pressure, but pressure from the inside, not outside.

Taking 5mL of Urbul’s 1000mg Blood Orange CBD Tincture (about 82mg), gives me a fast deflating of the inside pressure, much like a very strong prescription only Mobic anti-inflammatory.

To be clear, the Urbul CBD tincture provides a fair amount of pain relief and a huge amount of pressure release. I still take my strong painkillers, but I’ve been able to go without NSAIDs completely, which was tearing up my stomach anyway.

When I began taking the Urbul CBD Tincture I started at 5mL twice a day. Through some trial and error I discovered my optimum Urbul CBD Tincture intake to be 20mL a day. The Blood Orange flavor is very pleasant, but as time goes on I’ll try their other flavors as well.

What Benefits from CBD Tincture are You Looking For?

Using Urbul CBD Tincture for Anti-inflammatory and PainAs I said above, Urbul’s CBD tincture is a concentrated liquid, so smaller amounts will do an effective job than other forms of liquid CBD. I’ve heard some tell me that my usual dosage of 20mL a day is a lot, but my pain and my progressive diseases are difficult to deal with and this CBD Tincture has absolutely outperformed every other anti-inflammatory I’ve ever used.

Tinctures can have practical advantage over taking CBD in other ways. Tinctures are easy to take discreetly, and throughout the day. (I get 4-6 hours of relief between doses)

Although there are some heavy CBD cannabis available at cannabis dispensaries, where users can smoke or vape CBD-heavy cannabis, the taste is quite awful. I have a medical cannabis license that allows me access to all types of CBD, THC and several strains of cannabis, and while I found vaping and smoking potent CBD cannabis is too hard to take, the CBD Tincture is actually very pleasant.

CBD Tinctures, and CBD in general, can help with the management of many conditions, and I’ll talk more about them once I’m satisfied with my own findings on some of the conditions that affect me.

If you see a doctor, always let your doctor know that you’re using CBD. I’ll talk more about how CBD affects metabolizing other drugs.

While it’s true that CBD is being investigated for its strong anti-inflammatory uses, I can tell you right now that the “right” CBD, from Urbul,  is VERY effective as an anti-inflammatory. But not every producer of CBD produces the same quality of CBD. I vetted Urbul before spending my own money on their Tincture, and I’ve decided to stick with Urbul.

The Spinfuel VAPE Verdict

If you’re in pain or in need of the best anti-inflammatory product on the market, the answer is CBD. For me, Urbul CBD Tincture works better than any other CBD I’ve tried, and there has been many (but not all, surely).

I highly recommend URBUL for their CBD products, especially their great tasting Blood Orange CBD Tincture. Oh, and if you become a subscriber at Urbul you’ll get a substantial discount each month. For me, I subscribed after finishing my first bottle.
