Well, we’re certainly having a case of deja vu! Right on the heels of previewing the highly anticipated SMOK Majesty Resin kit, we learned we’re also getting the Carbon version, as well. Though the specs are the same, the distinct differences in finish and polish give the SMOK Majesty Carbon a much different look (and likely feel).

“ELEMENT

Much like resin, carbon fiber is quickly becoming a preferred high-end mod frame material, due to its smooth, but textured feel, and proven durability – something we all wish we had a little more of with our devices.

In case you haven’t checked out the Majesty Resin preview, let me save you the trip. With the Majesty, SMOK has taken the basic compact format of the recent SMOK ProColor series, and added a large amount of distinguished design to the mix.

Whereas the Resin edition features an artistic resin frame and stainless bezel, the Majesty Carbon is a little leaner and meaner, with four available carbon color designs, and a matte black bezel that enhances both the design and the durability.

On a more technical level, the SMOK Majesty Carbon is a dual-18650 device that brings users 230 watts of power, full temperature control suite, intelligent atomizer recognition and a slew of protection features built into the updated chipset.

“AVAILABLE”

It’s not the MOST innovation we’ve seen from SMOK – and to be honest, we’re a little concerned they might be resting on their laurels a bit. But this is the same basic framework that helped the company sell a billion Aliens, so who are we to argue?

Did we mention the screen? In case you haven’t experienced SMOK’s glorious new display on the ProColor, we’re thrilled this screen is also going to be featured on the Majesty series. Its high-res, customizable layout makes viewing and operating the device an absolute breeze, with distinct, mature font choices and sensible layouts for all necessary information.

Included with the kit is the latest “Baby” series tank, the TFV8 X-Baby, which is a top-airflow version of their venerable Big Baby tanks. As always, SMOK does a fantastic job matching the designs of its tanks and devices, and this pairing is no exception. There are few surprises to be had from the SMOK Baby tanks, but no one can argue with their reliable, satisfying performance.

We’re expecting the SMOK Majesty mods to arrive within the next few days, and will report back soon with a full breakdown of the highs, lows, and everything in between. Keep an eye out for it!
