What is the best PG/VG mix for standard high ohm vaping

A reader recently sent us an excellent question regarding e-liquid ratios for higher resistance coils. Bill, who started vaping in February, has been experimenting with various setups and is now looking for advice on optimizing his PG/VG mix to avoid coil clogging. Here’s what Bill asked:

“I just started vaping in February of this year. I began with an Eleaf iJust2 and the 0.3 and 0.5 ohm coils. I’ve since moved up to variable wattage mods and decided I would rather use higher ohm coils. I purchased the Eleaf GS Air M tanks that use 1.5 ohm coils and I will be getting some RBAs and pre-wound coils in 1.8, 2.0, and 2.5 ohms.

My question is, what would be the best PG/VG mix to use with these type coils? I am currently using 60PG/40VG in the Eleaf 1.5 GS Air ready-made coils. I don’t want to use a mix that will keep clogging up coils. Thanks for the help, Bill”
