VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid has returned! When VaporFi changed their flavoring lab a couple of years ago, they made a lot of changes to their custom blend menu. Some of those changes brought us new flavors that we loved and still love today. Some of those changes meant saying goodbye to old flavors, some of which were favorites.
The Raspberry Mocha E-liquid was one of those casualties, much to the chagrin of its loyal fans.
Well, to those loyal fans (and future fans), VaporFi announced last week that they have brought back their popular Raspberry Mocha E-liquid, in an updated formula. Now, if you’re thinking what I’m thinking, that an old favorite could be ruined with an updated formula, I totally get it. However, the good news is that after spending three days with VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid, Spinfuel is happy to report that this new version is better than ever.
As you know, Spinfuel publishes at least one E-liquid review a week, so we know our stuff when it comes to juice. Many of us have tried almost every e-juice flavor imaginable over the years. We have a good idea of what flavors can be blended, and which ones should be kept separate.
Coffee, or mocha, and fruit are usually a difficult combination to blend. Too much coffee or mocha, and the fruit flavor can be nonexistent. Too much fruit, and the coffee or mocha takes on an artificial taste. The difficulty is in creating a balance of flavors where each one is distinct, yet each one also contributes to the overall flavor of the E-liquid.
VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid has been blended in such a way that no one flavor dominates. In fact, it’s quite an accomplishment. As the old saying goes, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” – and that is exactly the case here.
VaporFi Raspberry Mocha – What to Expect
VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid is a sweet, complex flavor profile that, to us, is perfectly balanced. Upon the inhale, you’ll taste a soft, mellow mocha, followed by the tartness of raspberry, and then, on the exhale, a sweet creaminess to round out the flavor.
This is a coffee E-liquid, to be sure, but it’s more of a dessert E-liquid than a morning coffee vape. The sweetness is front and center, although not so sweet as to become cloying or too much to handle.
We believe that this E-liquid is for vapers who love dessert E-liquids, and want something that they can vape all day without becoming tired of it. It is sweet, but not overly sweet, and the richness of the mocha is something that is always welcome with a good fruit flavor.

VaporFi Raspberry Mocha – The Vaping Experience
For this review, we used a variety of tanks and atomizers. Both of us used the Joyetech ProCore Aries tank at 50W, with 0.4-ohm ProC1 coils. We also used the Wotofo Serpent Mini RTA (single coil, 0.5-ohm Kanthal at 30W), and the iJoy Limitless Classic RDTA (dual coil, 0.17-ohm Kanthal at 65W).
The flavor in all devices was rich and smooth, with a healthy vapor production. As a 70% VG / 30% PG blend, we expected good vapor production, and VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid did not disappoint.

I loved the original VaporFi Raspberry Mocha, so when I was told that this “new and improved” version was on its way, I had to suppress my fears that it would be awful. Well, I didn’t have to worry, because the new Raspberry Mocha is wonderful. It’s better than I remember the original, which makes me a very happy vaper.
The mocha comes in first, a soft, inviting mocha, followed by the subtle tartness of raspberry, and then on the exhale, a delicious creamy flavor that brings the two other flavors together. This is an E-liquid that works just as well in an RTA as it does a sub-ohm tank. A definite winner.
Julia’s Recommendation
I recommend VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid to any vaper that likes dessert vapes, or coffee vapes with a touch of something else. This E-liquid hits all the right notes for me, especially as someone who enjoys an occasional sweet vape. This could be an ADV for many vapers out there, and I hope it stays in the VaporFi custom blend menu for a very long time.

After a good week with the Raspberry Mocha E-liquid, I found myself vaping it nearly all day. My usual E-liquids are heavier, usually tobacco and tobacco with creamy notes, so for me to vape a mocha/raspberry E-liquid all day long, it has to be really good. And it is.
Julia and I vape differently, but we share the same enthusiasm for this E-liquid. I found that the new Raspberry Mocha is surprisingly good in every device I tried it in. While I usually prefer RDTA’s and high wattage, I found that the flavor was just as impressive in the Joyetech ProCore Aries at 50W. The flavor is a little different at the lower wattage, as the creamy notes come out more, but it’s good either way.
Dave’s Recommendation
I recommend VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid to any vaper that enjoys a smooth, satisfying vape, particularly those who enjoy mocha coffee flavors. The raspberry brings the mocha to life, and the creamy sweetness rounds out the vape. This is one of the best custom blend E-liquids that VaporFi has produced to date, and a definite all-day-vape for vapers who enjoy a sweet, dessert vape.
VaporFi Raspberry Mocha E-liquid: Final Thoughts
If you loved the original VaporFi Raspberry Mocha, you’re going to love this version even more. The new lab at VaporFi has done a marvelous job of bringing this classic back to life and making it better than ever. We hope this one stays around for a very long time.
Recommendation: Buy it! If you love mocha and fruit flavors, this is a must-try. You may not make it an all-day-vape, but you’ll certainly keep it in your rotation for those times when you crave a delicious dessert vape.
