The newest member of the Aspire Cleito sub-ohm tank family is the Cleito Pro. Unfortunately, it’s taken us a while to get this tank under the microscope, so to speak, because everything has been coming up “Mesh”.

Aspire Cleito Pro Sub-Ohm Tank Review

The Cleito Pro doesn’t use Mesh Coils (yet), and instead uses proprietary coil heads that extend the entire length of the entire tank. That said, the Aspire Cleito Pro is still one great tank. The flavor fidelity is out of this world, and while it may lack in the sheer volume of vapor clouds it can produce, most Vapers won’t mind.

About the Aspire Cleito Pro

The Aspire Cleito Pro Sub-Ohm Tank is the newest version of the Cleito line-up, featuring a maximum eJuice capacity of 4.2mL with the included Bubble Glass tank, triple bottom airflow slots, and clever side-fill method that makes quick work with filling and refilling. To fill, left off the top cap “ring”, then fill the tank from the large side position fill slot.

When you open the Cleito Pro box you’ll find that Aspire chose to use its smaller, 3mL straight glass section as its default glass. In order to use the Bubble Glass, you’ll need to dissemble the tank and replace the glass with the Bubble Glass. If you want to vape for an extra half hour or more, I suggest you replace the default glass with the larger 4.2mL Bubble Glass immediately.

Cleito Pro Coils

The Aspire Cleito Pro can use all the previous Cleito Coils that came before, including the original Cleito and Cleito EXO Coils. The Pro version introduces a new, and better, coil head with a resistance of 0.5ohm and a wattage range of 60 to 80W. During my review period I found 65-68 Watts to be the optimal power for maximum flavor and vapor, others might find 70 watts to 80 watts work for them, but for me the vapor was a little too warm at those ranges.

The Cleito Pro adjustable airflow slots at the base has a slightly knurled control ring, that allows air to enter from the bottom and then channels it upwards into the center of the coil.

Replacement Coils

The Aspire Cleito Pro Replacement Coils are extended coil atomizers fashioned for a less restrictive airflow and a massive increase of flavor. While the Cleito Pro was first introduced in our review of the Aspire Puxos 100W Kit.  (review here)

Coils for the Cleito Pro come in a package of five replacement coils.

Aspire Cleito Pro Replacement Coil Features:

  • 0.5ohm Cleito Pro Coil – rated for 60-80W
  • Elongated Atomizer Apparatus
  • Three Extra-Large Wicking Ports
  • Kanthal Heating Element
  • Organic Cotton

Vaping with the Aspire Cleito Pro

I am a huge fan of Mesh Coils so when I was given the Cleito Pro several weeks back I always found a way to delay the review because I believed the future is Mesh Coils, and I still do, but this new .5-ohm coil surprised me.

The break in period of this new tank is minutes, and before you know it the full flavor of your eJuice, plus ample clouds of vapor, will be a reality. In addition to a big boost in flavor I find the coil heads last longer than the original Cleito coils. At this point, after 10 days of exclusive use, the preinstalled coil is still going strong.

The is one drawback of these new coils, and that is they slurp up eJuice very quickly. While I used the default 3mL glass tank for the first two days I found myself refilling the Cleito Pro every 45-60 minutes. After replacing the default glass to the Bubble Glass, I gain 1.2mL of eJuice capacity and a good half hour to 45 minutes of vape time before refilling it.

The side fill system works best with Unicorn bottles and their long plastic and narrow tips. Using a glass dropper take a little longer to fill the tank, and it can cause a bit of a mess. The plastic tips from Unicorn bottles fit easily and directly and take no more than 10-15 seconds to fill the 4.2mL Bubble Glass tank.

I personally feel it’s time for Aspire to retire the Cleito look and feel, including the long coils, but as long as they keep improving the performance of the Cleito line, people will continue to use them.

Bottom Line

I won’t give up my larger capacity, mesh coil tanks for the Cleito Pro on a permanent basis, but there is no denying that that when it comes to performance the Aspire Cleito lives on in the Cleito Pro.
