Adirondack Vapor eLiquid Review by Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team
Before we even get to the e-liquid review, allow me to just say that these past few weeks have been very interesting for the Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team. Not only have we seen the release of several new sub-ohm tanks, including the new Aspire Atlantis 2.0, Sense Herakles, and the Kanger Subtank Plus (which is a new 25mm version that holds 7mL of e-liquid!), we’ve been hard at work reviewing new e-liquid brands.
It seems that every day we find a new company that is producing unique and delicious e-liquid. Today’s review is all about a company called Adirondack Vapor. We discovered Adirondack Vapor about a month ago when a customer asked us to take a look at their e-liquids. We liked what we saw, and we immediately contacted them to request some samples for review. Our samples arrived about 3 weeks ago, and we have been thoroughly enjoying them ever since.
The Company
Adirondack Vapor is located in upstate New York. They specialize in gourmet e-liquids, and their blends are custom-crafted with some of the finest ingredients available. All of Adirondack Vapor’s e-liquids are blended in an ISO 7 certified cleanroom, and they claim to be one of only a handful of vendors in the world that can make this claim.
The company also sells several different types of vaping hardware. They carry a very nice selection of mods, tanks, starter kits, and even offer a few clearance items as well. You can even find some drip tips on their website. It’s definitely a full-service online vape shop, and the customer service is among the best in the business.
We’ve had occasion to speak with Adirondack Vapor on several occasions. The owner, Dave, is an absolute pleasure to talk to, and you can truly tell that he cares about his customers. He’s very passionate about his e-liquid and his business, and he’s one of the nicest people we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. The eLiquids
Adirondack Vapor has two main e-liquid lines, a Classic line and a High VG line. In the Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team’s opinion, the High VG line is where this company shines. All of the flavors in this line were crafted to be vaped on either sub-ohm tanks or drippers, and that’s precisely how we tested these e-liquids.
The majority of our samples were 6mg nicotine, although we did receive one 3mg as well. The High VG line comes in a 70% VG and 30% PG blend, although you can request them in any ratio you prefer, from a 50/50 blend all the way up to 100% VG. They come in 10ml, 30ml, and 120ml bottles, with nicotine options of 0, 3, 6, 12, and 18mg. Here are our thoughts on the High VG line.
Placid
Placid is described by Adirondack Vapor as a honeydew, lychee, and pear e-liquid. When we first opened the bottle, we could immediately smell a very strong honeydew melon aroma. We vaped Placid on a Sigelei 100W Plus with a Sense Herakles tank, as well as a Vaporgiant mini clone with a Kanger Subtank Plus (0.5-ohm OCC head). The flavor, as expected, was a sweet honeydew. The lychee and pear are extremely subtle, and only served to enhance the overall taste of the honeydew. This e-liquid is very sweet, but not overly sweet. It has just the right amount of sweetness to make it a great all day vape for any melon lover. It’s smooth and delicious, and the vapor production is absolutely outstanding. Cayuga is described by Adirondack Vapor as an apple, pear, and plum e-liquid. This e-liquid definitely has a strong plum and apple aroma, but we could not pick up any of the pear on the nose. We vaped Cayuga on the same setup as Placid, a Sigelei 100W Plus with a Sense Herakles tank, and a Vaporgiant mini clone with a Kanger Subtank Plus. The flavor is very reminiscent of apple cider. The apple and plum are very strong, and the pear notes, once again, are extremely subtle. We don’t mind a good apple flavor, but this one was just a little too strong for some of the review team members. It’s still very good, and anyone who loves a good apple flavor will definitely enjoy Cayuga. The vapor production is very thick and cloudy, as expected with a 70% VG e-liquid. Saratoga is described by Adirondack Vapor as a strawberry, blueberry, and acai e-liquid. Upon opening the bottle, we could immediately smell a strong strawberry and blueberry aroma. We vaped Saratoga on the same setup as the others. The flavor of Saratoga is phenomenal. It is a sweet strawberry and blueberry blend, and it tastes very authentic. We could not distinguish the acai berry, but it definitely added to the overall flavor of this e-liquid. This e-liquid has just the right amount of sweetness to make it an outstanding all day vape. It’s extremely smooth, with zero throat hit, and the vapor production is simply out of this world. This e-liquid is definitely one of our new favorites. Tupper is described by Adirondack Vapor as a strawberry, custard, and menthol e-liquid. When we first opened the bottle, we could immediately smell a strong strawberry and menthol aroma. We vaped Tupper on the same setup as the others. The flavor of Tupper is very good, but it’s definitely not for everyone. The strawberry and menthol are very strong. The custard, once again, is a very subtle note that enhances the overall flavor. We thought the flavor was a little too strong, and would prefer it with a little less menthol. Those of you who enjoy menthol flavors will absolutely love Tupper. The vapor production, as with all of Adirondack Vapor’s High VG e-liquids, is amazing. Delta is described by Adirondack Vapor as a honeydew, watermelon, and cucumber e-liquid. When we first opened the bottle, we could immediately smell a very strong honeydew and watermelon aroma. We vaped Delta on the same setup as the others. This e-liquid is very good, and it’s very unique. The honeydew and watermelon are a little less pronounced than in other honeydew and watermelon blends, but they are still the dominant flavors. The cucumber flavor is quite different, and it definitely adds something special to this e-liquid. It’s hard to describe the taste of cucumber to someone who has never tried it in an e-liquid, but it gives Delta a subtle, earthy, almost vegetable flavor. Some of the members of the review team were not big fans of the cucumber, while others absolutely loved it. The vapor production is simply phenomenal. This e-liquid scored 4.25 out of 5 stars from the Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team.
Seneca is described by Adirondack Vapor as an apple pie, caramel, and vanilla ice cream e-liquid. When we first opened the bottle, we could immediately smell a strong apple pie and caramel aroma. We vaped Seneca on the same setup as the others. The flavor of Seneca is outstanding. It is a sweet apple pie and caramel blend, and it tastes very authentic. We could not distinguish the vanilla ice cream, but it definitely added to the overall flavor of this e-liquid. This e-liquid has just the right amount of sweetness to make it an outstanding all day vape. It’s extremely smooth, with zero throat hit, and the vapor production is simply out of this world. This e-liquid is definitely one of our new favorites. It scored 4.75 out of 5 stars from the Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team.
Sagamore is described by Adirondack Vapor as a strawberry, tangerine, and cream e-liquid. When we first opened the bottle, we could immediately smell a strong strawberry and tangerine aroma. We vaped Sagamore on the same setup as the others. The flavor of Sagamore is very good, and it’s very unique. The strawberry and tangerine are very strong, and the cream flavor is quite different, and it definitely adds something special to this e-liquid. It’s hard to describe the taste of cream to someone who has never tried it in an e-liquid, but it gives Sagamore a subtle, smooth flavor. Some of the members of the review team were not big fans of the cream, while others absolutely loved it. The vapor production is simply phenomenal. This e-liquid scored 4.25 out of 5 stars from the Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team.
