Performance
0.6ohm Mesh Coil (DTL)
I started my testing with the 0.6ohm mesh coil using a standard 70/30 VG/PG freebase e-liquid. The performance was impressive. The vapor was warm, full of flavor, and surprisingly dense for a pod system. The draw is a restricted direct lung hit, which can be further adjusted using the airflow ring on the coil base. While it’s not a wide-open DTL, it provides a satisfying experience for those who enjoy a slightly tighter draw.
I found this coil to be excellent for regular e-liquids, delivering a robust vape that rivals many sub-ohm tanks. Coil life was also decent, lasting approximately 1-2 weeks depending on usage.

Battery Life
The Artery PAL II comes with a built-in 1000mAh battery, which is quite substantial for a device of its size. For a moderate vaper, this battery easily lasts a full day, and often into the next morning, especially when using the 1.2ohm MTL coil. Heavy users might need to charge it once during the day, but the pass-through charging feature allows you to vape while it’s plugged in.
Charging takes about 1-1.5 hours from empty to full using a standard USB port, which is reasonably fast.
