Fetch Pro 80W AIO System by SMOK Review
[spinfuel_scad ad=”ad1″ align=”left”]
Every time we review a hybrid pod mod or AIO setup, we often resort to familiar phrases like “it bridges the gap” or “a pod system for advanced vapers.” With the SMOK Fetch Pro 80W AIO, however, new descriptors might be necessary. This is simply a fantastic vape device, no labels required. This compact mod delivers impressive performance.
Key Features and Specifications
The SMOK FETCH PRO Pod System introduces updated chassis construction and broad compatibility with various pods and coils. Notably, it supports a new RBA Coil option, offering DIY enthusiasts freedom from reliance on prebuilt coils.
Construction
The FETCH Pro Pod System boasts a futuristic, visually striking design. It features the same stunning AG reflective glass with decorative striping seen in previous models, complemented by a 0.96″ TFT Display Screen that provides essential vaping information. Below the screen are adjustment buttons for menu navigation and wattage control. Above the display, a slotted airflow inlet leads to the top-mounted pod connection.
Pod and Coil Compatibility
The SMOK FETCH Pro is compatible with both SMOK RPM and RGC Pod Series, allowing users to choose between either refillable pod and their respective coil lines. This extensive compatibility enables a wide array of vaping combinations, catering to diverse styles such as MTL or DTL, and suitability for both nicotine salts and freebase e-liquids. This makes the Fetch Pro an exceptionally versatile pod system.

Aesthetics of the Fetch Pro
The Fetch Pro stands out as one of the sleekest AIOs currently available. Envision a traditional, box-style pod device scaled down to the size of a small pack of gum, and you get a clear picture of its compact design. While not perfectly shirt-pocket friendly, its diminutive size is remarkable given the power it contains.
Beyond comparisons to “pod mods,” the Fetch Pro exhibits exceptional build quality, utilizing zinc alloy and glass components. This contributes to its slightly weighty feel, making it less suitable for those seeking maximum discretion.

The Fetch Pro features a full-color TFT display, surprisingly similar to those found in competing brands. This screen enables comprehensive mod control, extending up to its 80-watt limit. While this aesthetic might be considered dated for traditional vape mods, it’s among the best we’ve encountered in “pod mods.” Functionality is excellent, with responsive buttons and near-instant feedback, even at lower wattages.
Airflow
A notable design element is the smooth airflow control located on the bottom of the pod, which seamlessly aligns with a clever opening in the Fetch Pro’s frame. We appreciate not having to contend with stiff airflow adjustments, a common issue with many AIO devices. SMOK deserves commendation for this refined implementation.
Pod Construction
Even the pod tanks themselves appear to be a step above the typical plastic components often seen. Solid construction, precise machining, and premium materials result in a package that defies the “tiny AIO” classification.
Overall, the Fetch Pro kit represents a well-executed product from a vape company renowned for some of the market’s leading devices.
Vaping the SMOK Fetch Pro Kit
Further blurring the lines between entry-level and advanced vaping, SMOK designed the Fetch Pro as a true “all-in-one” mod for vapers of all types. Of the two included coil heads, the higher-wattage atomizer performed adequately but lacked the nuanced flavor of the slightly higher-resistance option.

Consistent with our long-held belief, pod systems generally excel in low-wattage applications. The Fetch Pro reinforces this, with the more durable RPM coil consistently delivering superior flavor and longevity.
Serious Clouds from a Pod Mod
Despite its pod mod designation, the Fetch Pro is capable of producing impressive vapor clouds. While the vapor isn’t the most flavorful we’ve experienced, both the 0.4-ohm RPM and 0.17-ohm RGC coils proved reliable, fast-heating, and durable atomizers.
Remarkably, neither coil consumed e-liquid as quickly as anticipated. A single tank, when paired with an MTL coil, lasted a full evening thanks to the 4.3mL capacity in that configuration.
Our primary critique of the Fetch Pro kit is that the lower-resistance coils do not offer the same rich, nuanced flavor as the lower-wattage options. While not poor, the muted flavor detracts from the experience, especially after enjoying the performance of the proven RPM coils. If SMOK intends the Fetch Pro to be a long-term platform for sub-ohm users, this flavor issue will need to be addressed.
18650 Single Cell Mod
Another minor concern was battery life. For a single-18650 system, battery drain was problematic, even compared to more traditional vape devices. We observed only a few hours of moderate use before the Fetch Pro required recharging. This performance naturally diminishes further at higher wattages, making the Fetch Pro a less-than-ideal choice for dedicated sub-ohm users.
Ending on a positive note, the overall experience was indeed positive. Perhaps most appreciated is the device’s compatibility with SMOK’s extensive line of RPM coils. Given SMOK’s reputation for producing numerous proprietary coils, this interoperability is a welcome change.
Pros:
- The higher-resistance coil head delivered excellent performance.
- Outstanding construction and build quality.
- Strong MTL performance and coil longevity.
Cons:
- Sub-ohm coils lack distinct flavor clarity.
- Weak battery performance.
- Not entirely discreet in size/weight.
Bottom Line
As an AIO device, the SMOK Fetch Pro stands out at its price point, offering tremendous value for ex-smokers and entry-level vapers, regardless of their preferred vaping style. For mid-wattage advanced vaping, its value is even more pronounced.
While battery life and sub-ohm performance indicate the Fetch Pro might be striving for a bit too much, SMOK has undeniably blurred the lines further with this kit. We highly recommend exploring it if you’re looking to transition from disposable pod mods to a more capable system.
