The Wotofo Profile Unity RTA
Mesh is everywhere! And it was only a matter of time before the craftier end of the vaping spectrum – the rebuildable atomizer crew – started dabbling with these flavor-focused coil materials. But who knew it would be this good right out of the gate? Apparently, Wotofo did, because in addition to the company’s Profile dripper, now they’ve introduced the Profile Unity 25mm Mesh RTA is a bona fide winner from the moment you fire.
Let’s see the party line on the Profile Unity and get a better look.
The Wotofo Profile Unity 25mm Mesh RTA is a multileveled vaping atomizer, adopting the unique build deck from the original Profile RDA, 3.5mL expandable juice capacity, and an ingenious leak-proof top fill system. Constructed from durable impact-resistant superior stainless steel, the Wotofo Profile Unity combines the unique build deck of the original Profile RDA and it’s side secured terminals for the mesh heating element known as the nexMesh OFRF.

Visually, the Profile Unity is a pretty standard-looking RTA. That is, smooth lines, simple adornments, and just a splash of color to keep things interesting. Coming with both a stock small glass section, and a taller glass section, it’s best to install the bigger variety right from the outset, since that only brings the capacity to a serviceable 5mL. As you know, mesh coils can be a little thirstier than standard designs, so be prepared to refill early and often.
The top fill port and side airflow ports are also pretty standard. I had a little bit of trouble refilling, thanks to some strange air pockets that kept forming right below the surface, leading to some hefty paper towel consumption. But once I figured out the right angles, it wasn’t an issue.
Finally, the Profile Unity is available in six colors, but I’m partial to the gunmetal. Not that anyone asked, of course.
The real star of the Profile Unity is the build deck, which is a slightly modified version of the RDA edition, centered on the simple clamp system that holds the wafer-thin nexMESH coils in place. A few turns of a screwdriver and some minimal placement and you’re off to the races. The flat mesh sits in a slight arc, and can be molded to fit the supplied cotton wick, where you can then trim until you’ve got a build you’re happy with.
The coils themselves seem fragile and weak, but nothing could be further from the truth. After nearly three weeks, my original coil was still clean, with no signs of scorching or hot spots. And because of that, the flavor has stayed rich and pure, with regular cotton changes making it seem brand-new all over again.
After spending a few minutes getting the perfect arc on my coil, I wicked, wet and filled, and was enjoying insane flavor right from the get. Dripper-quality flavor and a smooth-wicking juice flow led to near-instant satisfaction. A lot of people have shunned rebuildables of late, simply because they don’t think it’s worth the hassle compared to a sub-ohm tank. I recommend those people give this deck a try and see if they reconsider. RTAs still offer richer flavor experiences when built correctly.
Vaping the Wotofo Profile Unity RTA
RTAs can be fickle beasts. While there’s nothing better than a well-built and wicked atomizer, the slightest mistakes can lead to dry hits, poor juice flow and more. But the Wotofo Profile Unity didn’t experience any of the usual problems.
What problems exactly? Given the positioning of the deck in relation to the tank, I was concerned about the Profile Unity leaking a bit through the slotted side airflow. But it never once happened… even when I accidentally overfilled when trying to be a little too precise. Maybe it was the generous amount of cotton in the provided wicks, or just well-designed construction, but I was pleasantly surprised by how effortless the experience was.
As mentioned above, the coil longevity is unreal for such a delicate piece of metal. I will admit to being a little skeptical about bringing new types of coil materials into a home already filled with spools of Kanthal and titanium. But the performance and inexpensive replacement cost changed my mind entirely.
The only complaint I could drum up after weeks of steady, enjoyable vaping was the afore-mentioned fill port overflow issue. Suffice it to say, if that’s all I could come up with, the Profile Unity was well ahead of the curve in the RTA marketplace.
– Leak-free performance
– Pure, RDA-quality flavor
– Simple build process
– Really low capacity
– Really thirsty coils
– Fill port can be problematic
What can we say – sometimes you don’t need 1,500 words to tell a story. The Wotofo Profile Unity takes the best parts of modern sub-ohm tanks – the mesh coils – and brings them to the RTA world. And the results – flavor, vapor production, ease-of-use – are glorious. If you have two extra minutes to install and wick a coil versus screwing in a prebuilt head, you’ll see how the Profile Unity delivers just an effortless, flavor-rich experience.
