Spinfuel eLiquid Review Team and Vape Chemist
If you take the time to read our interview with the people behind Vape Chemist, I believe you will find it fascinating. The biggest revelation in the interview for the team was how Vape Chemist was once an 8-flavor line and then, in 2015, reduced their lineup to variations of just Mango and Strawberry.
The reasoning behind the decision to focus on Mango and Strawberry make a lot of sense, and it shows that the folks behind Vape Chemist are not only terrific eliquid creators, they are business savvy, and they know the eliquid business inside and out. No, wait, they understand the eliquid business.
Before we give our impressions on the four eliquids submitted for review, here are some basics you’ll need to be aware of if you decide to try them out…which you should… if you like mango and strawberry flavors. (And who doesn’t, am I right?)
Vape Chemist is a U.S. (California) made e-Juice company. Their eliquids are available numerous sizes, including 30ml, 60ml and 120ml glass bottles. Nicotine is offered in 3mg, 6mg and 12mg, and of course a zero-nic option.
All the ingredients in their eliquids are the highest grade PG & VG, 99.9% Pure Nicotine, and they use US sourced flavorings which are mixed in one of the largest Certified ISO 7 Cleanrooms in the United States.
Price = Size
Vape Chemist begins at the 30mL glass bottle size and is priced at $19.99. After sampling a few of their flavors you’ll probably want to increase bottle size and save some money as well.
VG/PG
The eliquids we reviewed were all 60% VG and 40% PG. While you can certainly vape a 60/40 VG/PG in a sub-ohm tank, they perform equally well, if not better, above 1-ohm.
Vape Gear Used in this Review
There are still several pieces of hardware that are currently in review, and what better way to test them then to use them in a 3-day review period. A few of the mods used in this review are in that category.
Julia: SMOK Quantum 80 with the Kanger Protank 4 Evolved.
Tom: Reuleaux 2/3 with the Vaporesso ORC tank and a Freemax Star Pure.
Jason: iPV400 and the Kanger Pangu sub-ohm tank.

Julia: 5 Stars – The mango flavoring used in both mango eliquids is the best tasting, most authentic mango flavor I’ve ever tasted. I’ve enjoyed other mango flavored eliquids in the past, but for one reason or another the mango flavor was not pure mango. Vape Chemist has created the best mango flavors I’ve had.
While I rate Mango Pound Cake the full 5 Stars, I would have like to have tasted more pound cake then I did. Maybe 10-20% more would have nailed it 100%. If you like mango flavored eliquids, you simply have to try a bottle of Mango Pound Cake.
Kiera: 5 Stars – Julia and I agree on everything when it comes to Mango Pound Cake. The only thing we disagree on is the score. I loved this flavor, and I added it to my rotation, however, because I too believe it needs just a touch more pound cake, I have to knock off a half star. For mango lovers out there, this is something you need to try.
Tom: 5 Stars – The 40% PG in this eliquid really drives home the flavor of mango. The flavor is somewhat intense, but right where I like it. A little light on the pound cake flavor, but I’m not complaining. This stuff is like vaping a real mango.
Jason: 5 Stars – Since 3 stars is an “average” eliquid, I will admit that Mango Pound Cake is way above average. I enjoyed it, I vaped every drop, but there were two things missing; the flavor of pound cake, and the all-day-vape claim in the official description. After 5 years of vaping I’m not sure there exists a 40% PG eliquid I could handle all day. That said, if this was a MaxVG I have no doubt I would have rated it 5 stars and then some. MaxVG would have calmed the authentic mango flavor, and maybe provide an outlet for the pound cake.
Philippine Mango

Julia: 5 Stars – Sweet luscious mango flavor in vapor form. Absolutely wonderful. That said, the high amount of PG makes the flavor just a little sharp for an all-day-vape. Regardless, I spent many hours with Philippine Mango and delighted in every bit of it.
Had I had some old X-Jet clearomizers (2.2-ohm) and a Vision VV battery I think this one would have tasted better.
Kiera: 4.5 Stars – The most “mango” flavor I’ve ever vaped. In fact, vaping Philippine Mango is like vaping an actual mango and keeping all the flavor from a bright red, fully ripened mango. If you like mango these two mango eliquids will light up your vape life like you wouldn’t believe.
Tom: 4.5 Stars – I love the flavor of mango, but I can admit that there are other flavors I like more. However, when it comes to Philippine Mango and mango pound cake, I truly do not believe that there is another brand, another eliquid, that delivers the mango flavor better. Vape Chemist has a lock on Mango, and if it is something you like as well, I would bet you that you’d become a permanent customer. You simply can’t find a better mango eliquid.
Jason: 5 Stars – I vaped Mango Pound Cake first, and I enjoyed it tremendously. Then, I filled a new tank with Philippine Mango and I couldn’t believe it tasted even more like a mango then the pound cake juice. I know it’s been said before, but if mango is a flavor you love to vape, Vape Chemist is where you want to go. As authentic as you can get.
Strawberry Pound Cake – A Spinfuel Choice Award Winner

Julia: 5 Stars – With this strawberry pound cake ejuice the pound cake comes through as a sweet, buttery pound cake with a heaping pile of sweet strawberry on top. This is an unbelievable flavor with just the right amount of each flavor component. A must-vape ejuice.
Kiera: 5 Stars – You don’t come across flavors like this too often. Strawberry Pound Cake has the exact amount of pound cake to strawberry mix, and one you won’t’ soon forget. Sweet, satisfying, and authentic, this is pound cake and strawberry ejuice you want to vape.
Tom: 5 Stars – It’s the pound cake flavor in this juice that puts Strawberry Pound Cake over the top. I enjoyed the ripe and sweet strawberry flavor as well, but the combination of a good strawberry flavor and a ground in authenticity pound cake flavor… simply a fine ejuice. Personally, I know I would enjoy these flavors even more if they were available in a MaxVG mix.
Jason: 5 Stars – I think in this ejuice the PG/VG ratio helps. For some reason, the pound cake flavor profile is stronger here then it is in Mango Pound Cake, but only a little. Still, it made a difference in how much I enjoyed it.
I totally believe that the 60% VG and 40% PG would be best served in the above-10hm atomizer, but the Kanger Pangu worked just fine for the review period. In the long run, I would buy some plus-ohm coil heads for a couple of my tanks to enjoy Strawberry Pound Cake on a regular basis.
Pink Matter

Julia: 4.25 Stars – My least favorite of the flavors reviewed today, I’m not overly thrilled with a cool blast of mint mixed with my strawberry flavor. However, anyone that enjoys a minty flavor added to other flavors would adore Pink Matter. Vape Chemist did an excellent job balancing the two flavors.
Kiera: 4.75 Stars – Pink Matter definitely has that cool mint flavor on the exhale, which I enjoyed very much. The strawberry flavor was excellent, though I’m sure I’m wrong, the strawberry tasted a little different than it tasted in Strawberry Pound Cake. Perhaps it was the mint flavoring rather than a different flavoring. In any case, if strawberry and mint sound good to you, you’re going to love Pink Matter.
Tom: 4.5 Stars – There is a part of me that loves a moderate mint exhale with just about any flavor combination. Pink Matter wouldn’t be my all day vape, but it would for fans of minty flavors. The strawberry holds up great, it isn’t overwhelmed by the mint flavoring, and together they form a truly original overall flavor.
The mint comes on the exhale, behind the strawberry, and it does a great job of cooling your breath, just as it is intended to do.
Jason: 4 Stars – Certainly a lot better than any average ejuice, Pink Matter handles itself like a pro. That strawberry flavor is the dominant flavor right up until the last few seconds of the vape, then that mint cooling factor kicks in. Together they create a fantastic vape. In fact, I would go so far as to say for many people Pink Matter would be an excellent all-day-vape. I would love to see this recipe in a High VG version.
Bottom Line
The one thing that is most evident among the team is the fact that these fine eliquids are higher in PG than we’re used to. The 40% PG ratio makes it difficult to cull an all-day-vape when the gear you use is ultra-low sub-ohm atomizers and high wattage mods.
The flavors, when vaped in low resistant atomizers comes at you harder than it should, but it did give us ample time 
to cut through the recipes and taste the true quality of the flavorings used. There is no doubt that the flavorings are authentic, pure, and deserving.
It was agreed that the Mango flavoring was the best we’ve had in all the years of vaping, but with the Mango Pound Cake juice it would have helped to have a bit more pound cake. The Philippine Mango is straight up mango like you wouldn’t believe. So authentic that if you had an allergy for mango’s, this might set it off.
The strawberry flavors were excellent, though not nearly as effective as the mango in making a name for itself. Strawberry flavors are seen everywhere, and some do a good job with it and some don’t. Vape Chemist uses an authentic strawberry flavorings and they know exactly how to use it, as is seen in the Strawberry Pound Cake. But, if Vape Chemist is to be known for its few flavors, then the mango wins every time.
Naturally, if you’re not a fan of mango flavors, or strawberry for that matter, Vape Chemist isn’t going to be the right choice for you, but if happen to enjoy these flavors there isn’t a better brand for them than Vape Chemist.
Lastly, in our discussion period I ask the team what one word would best describe Vape Chemist. Like me, their answers were: Mango.
