A Review-Team Transition
In February 2015, Spinfuel announced that one group of contributors was stepping away from the magazine’s review desk while a new group would take on the work. It was a normal newsroom transition, but an important one for a publication built around recurring staff voices.
Continuity and Change
The announcement reflects the collaborative character of Spinfuel at the time. The magazine depended on writers, editors, and reviewers whose individual perspectives shaped its coverage. A new team meant a fresh chapter while the publication continued its broader editorial work.
What Has Been Removed
The original contained personal biographies, business and location details, product descriptions, nicotine-use and health claims, and promises about future reviews. Those details have been removed. They should not be read as current information about any person, business, product, or practice.
Why Preserve It?
Staff transitions are part of a magazine’s real history. This archive keeps a simple record of how Spinfuel changed hands within its review operation while respecting present-day readers and former contributors.
