About the Revenant Vape Cartel 160W TC Box Mod

“ELEMENT
Element Vape

Revenant Vapes Cartel 160W TC Box Mod exists as the result of Vaporesso Cartel and Revenant Vape coming together to create a beautiful, and timeless body design with the Vaporesso “proprietary chipset”, the OMNI 2, that features a total of six output modes, including the marvelous CCW and CCT adjustment modes.

To put it plainly, at the heart of the Revenant Vape Cartel Box Mod is the best chipset from Vaporesso, the very same one found in the much less expensive Vaporesso Revenger, one of my favorite mods, and one I carry with me often. If you want the performance, then by all means pick up the Revenger (Kit model, that NRG tank is spectacular), but if you want something more, something exquisite, something that you can be proud of, to show to friends, or to strike up a conversation at your local vape shop hangout, then the Revenant Vape Cartel makes all the sense in the world.

Revenant Vape Cartel is Engineered like a Bentley Automobile

The architectural and structural design of the Revenant Cartel 160W Box Mod is centered around a super high quality Stainless Steel frame. The tolerances between the seams of stainless steel are so tight that it would be easy to mistake it as a single piece of steel, like the Apple MacBook Pro and its high-quality aluminum carved from a single block. Nothing rattles, nothing shakes… it is built like some of the very best box mods I’ve ever used.

Each Revenant Vape Cartel is finished with a striking dyed resin that creates a truly unique mod. Each Revenant Vape Cartel is an original, so much so the device is packaged and shipped at random. No one knows exactly what his or her Revenant Vape Cartel will look like when it arrives. The one I purchased from Element Vape? Well, I’ve included a photo I took with my iPhone to show how individual they are. Mine Revenant Vape Cartel is perfect for me.

The Revenant Vape Cartel is built in the traditional “rectangular form factor”, a successful design that makes it fit comfortably in-hand.  The ultra-premium Stainless Steel buttons are shiny, smooth, yet solid and firm. The buttons react instantly, but are never flimsy. Everything about it feels like a luxurious vaping experience.

Vaporesso OMNI 2

The fully integrated OMNI 2 Board is the latest chipset from Vaporesso. By implementing the new Customized Curve of Wattage (CCW) and Customized Curve of Temperature (CCT) modes in the Revenant Vape Cartel, users can set their wattage and temperature with a razor-like precision ramp-up effect that will greatly extend the accuracy and customization for each atomizer and eliquid used.

The Revenant Vape Cartel also features a Bypass Mode (I never use this mode but others do), a Smart Variable Wattage Mode, and manual TCR Adjustments for even more methods of powering this awesome mod.

“AVAILABLE”

Combining the beautiful design and the high-powered OMNI 2 chipset, the Revenant Vape Cartel 160W Box Mod will allow the proud owner to carry a device that not only performs at the top of its class, but is built to last years, and will be admired by other Vapers looking for a very special mod to call their own. As unique as a snowflake, every owner will know their Revenant Vape Cartel is the only one like it in the world.

Now Let’s Talk Price, Value, and Commonsense

The Revenant Vape Cartel is expensive, even through our partner, Element Vape. While the Vaporesso Revenger can be had for as little as $69.95 with the NRG Sub-Ohm Tank, the Revenant Vape Cartel is $144.95. Double the price, sure, but is it worth it? That depends…

Paying for the Privilege

There are Vapers that buy one, maybe two, mods and that’s it. They never seriously consider another box mod unless one of the current mods begins to approach its End of Life stage, by misfiring or its display begins to go. There are Vapers that spend as little as possible for their mods. They don’t care about style, quality, or much else. If it vapes, they are happy, for the most part.

REVIEW: Revenant Vape Cartel 160W TC Box Mod - Spinfuel VAPE MagazineThen there is the Collector. Vapers that deliberately spend a portion of their hard-earned money toward buying more and more box mods, tanks, or RDA’s and RDTA’s. These Vapers are like me; always looking for new stuff… better mods, better tanks, while the number of mods and tanks that accumulate over time can wind up exceeding 100. Even for the Collector, expensive mods are not immediately grabbed up. However, in the case of the Revenant Vape Cartel, I have a feeling that it’s high quality construction and individual uniqueness, it would be a mod worth collecting.

Finally, there is the Connoisseur of Vaping. Vapers that purchase only high end mods and tanks. You can find incredible photographs of high-end mods on Pinterest, at least I do, and on several occasions these photographs point me to my next acquisition. I imagine the Collector or Connoisseur would do the same.

Someone like the Connoisseur won’t mind paying a lot for a new mod, if it is exquisitely made and exquisitely beautiful, and if it performs like a high-end mod. This is the kind of Vaper I want to be, but my financial reality won’t allow for it. So, when I spend $150 for a mod, it had better not sit on a shelf somewhere collecting dust, like so many other showpieces. The Revenant Vape Cartel might be a Collector piece, and it will appeal to the Connoisseur of Vaping, but unlike those that will sit on the shelf, this mod is going to get a lot of use.

The Revenant Vape Cartel Wrap Up

Yes, the Revenant Vape Cartel looks like a mod that some might want to keep in its handsome tin case, or sitting upright behind glass, but considering it performs with the same heart of the Vaporesso Revenger, it will get used, as I have been using mine.

There are certainly more expensive box mods on the market than the Revenant Vape Cartel, and many more that are less. And while I don’t go around buying expensive mods all the time, I would buy it again should I ever lose the one I picked up.

The Score

For the amazing machining of the superb stainless steel, and for the durable, yet unique-to-every-mod Resin Finish, to its OMNI 2 chipset, the Revenant Vape Cartel, earns a big fat:

A+

(though I do understand that not everyone will easily hand over the $144.95 price tag to possess one of these amazing box mods.)

Batteries must always be matched by brand, model (mAh & Amperage) and battery conditions at all times. It is always a good idea to purchase 2 sets of matched batteries, one set to use and one set as backup, and label the batteries with a permanent marker; A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, etc.. Discharge and recharge batteries within the same grouping of two, externally for best charge, in the unit if equipped with safety protections onboard. Failure to do so may result in injury, possibly even an explosion. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries with any device, box mod or flashlights, any device requiring multiple batteries.
