SPINFUEL VAPE REVIEW SCORE

September 14th 2018 Update: I wanted to take a minute and let our readers know that this is still the only Sub-Ohm Tanks I’ve been using and the Coils are still performing like new. I don’t know about you, but coil life like this is very rare. – Dave

The AVCT Avictor RSN Mesh Sub-Ohm Tank features a hinged sliding top-fill system that was actually easy to use, a resin-dyed 7mL bubble glass with a matching 810 Wide Bore Drip Tip, and the utilizing of the powerful RSN Coil System.

“ELEMENT
COne of the first concerns I had about using a sub-ohm tank that was more Resin than anything else was the possibility of flying blind, aka, not knowing how much eJuice I had left in the big tank. The minute I lifted out the white-Resin tank I noticed that AVCT was smart enough to leave a nice strip of clear glass so that users can monitor the eJuice level and refill when needed. If this is one of your concerns as well, you can relax.

The AVCT Avictor RSN Sub-Ohm Tank that is not Resin-coated is sturdy stainless-steel with engraving that add character to an already a characteristically eccentric Tank. The AVCT Avictor RSN Sub-Ohm is offered with a black or silver stainless-steel chassis as well. (I prefer the black)

While the large capacity of the tank and its liberal use of resin-coated glass and drip tip, the performance of this flavorful and cloud making machine belong to the powerful RSN Coil System. A 0.15-ohm Mesh Coil rated (my Mod reads it as 0.14-ohms) is rated for a wide 50 to 100W, with an optimal vape of 73W is the preinstalled Coil, while a 0.4ohm Dual-Coil Head (my mods read it as 0.41-ohm) is rated at a lower, but still high-performance 40 to 80W. My optimal vape with this Coil was in the upper range, right about 68W.

Resin Galore, and Powerhouse Too!

AVCT AVICTOR RSN MESH SUB-OHM TANK REVIEW

The AVCT Avictor RSN Mesh Sub-Ohm Tank has more resin-coating than any other Sub-Ohm Tank on the market, a visual feast chassis for Resin fans. Includes an easy to use hinged sliding top-fill system, 7mL bubble glass and matching Resin drip tip, and the utilizing of the RSN Coil System. The Avictor is a powerful performer with great flavor and massive clouds.

Vaping the AVCT Avictor RSN Sub-Ohm

The ACVT Avictor RSN has a Base Width of 25mm, which means that most vape mods with a minimum wattage of 50W (for the 0.4-ohm coil), or 80W (for the 0.15-ohm Coil) would work well. For the review period (about one week), I used the YiHi SXmini SL Class (reviewed here) and the Lost Vape Triade DNA250C (reviewed here) with impressive results.

Having said that, I should warn you that the RSN Coils do need a slight break in period. The first two pulls from the drip tip with each Coil resulted in muted flavor, and about half the vapor production. Afterward the flavor and cloud production exploded (in a good way), offering up the same intense flavor and huge clouds as my best Sub-Ohms, including my Vaping AMP, (reviewed here) SMOK V12 Prince Cobra, (reviewed here)and the Aspire Cleito Pro (reviewed here).

It’s all in the Mesh

Indeed, Mesh Coils have taken the vape community by storm, with good reason. A Mesh Coil has a vastly increased surface area of the Kanthal heating element, and along with the pure organic cotton, most eJuice is vaporized directly, resulting in the big increase of authentic, pure flavor and vast clouds with ever pull. It is my belief that these Mesh Coils also provide a longer Coil life, but that depends on the manufacturer of the Mesh Coils. As I have had only 7 days with the AVictor RSN Coils, the most I can say about longevity is that both Coils are still going strong and I’ve noticed no decrease in flavor or vapor production.

Bottom Line

There are Vapers in the community who are “done” with Resin-coated anything. These Vapers will probably not have any interest in this all-Resin Sub-Ohm. But, for Vapers that take one look at the ACVT AVictor RSN and drool over the possibilities, they will not be disappointed.

We here at Spinfuel VAPE have said several times this year that today’s Sub-Ohm Tanks are frequently good performers, and it is the flavorless tanks that are the rarity. I still trust this belief, though there are still some 2018 sub-ohm tanks that lack flavor and vapor, but the ACVT AVictor RSN is not one of them.

The AVictor RSN is something new, yet a huge performer that means business. Yes, the Resin-coated 7mL glass tank and drip tip are surprising at first, but don’t let the eccentric look fool you, this Sub-Ohm Tank has come to play…hard. Lastly, when we put our new list of “Best Cloud-Chasers” and/or “Best All-Around Tanks” for the latter half of 2018, you can expect to the AVictor RSN on the lists.
