How to Charge the iStick 100w

eLeaf iStick 100wThe battery power indicator on the screen flashes when the power remaining in the batteries is less than 10%. The iStick 100W can be charged through USB port at the bottom of the device with the USB cable (included). The battery indicator will keep flashing while charging and the screen will go black when it is fully charged. Charging through the USB port is much slower than charging the batteries in a charger, such as a Nitecore D2.

Impressions

eLeaf iStick 100wThe eLeaf iStick 100w might seem like a step backwards since eLeaf released its Temperature Control iStick 40W TC just a couple of weeks before the 100w. But for many Vapers temperature control and the use of nickel coils are just not yet in the cards. The iStick 100w is a simple, easy to use, inexpensive vaporizer with all the expected features of modern vaporizers. If you are looking for a temperature control device by eLeaf the iStick 40w TC is where you should look.

Did eLeaf need to release a 100w iStick? Probably not, but for users that like the iStick line and wants more wattage then was currently available, the iStick 100w is the answer. As with every iStick we’ve reviewed, this model has been issue-free for more than 10 days now. We have successfully used every 510 tank in our inventory.
The OLED screen is bright, easy to read, and provides all the needed information, including battery level, ohms of the atomizer attached, the current wattage and voltage.

VV-VW – For Vapers that want to vape with variable voltage the option is there. A simple 3-clicks of firing button brings you into the menu mode where you can change the device from wattage to voltage and back again.

Recommendation

The iStick 100w is definitely good choice for iStick fans looking for more wattage or Vapers looking for a quality high-wattage device foreLeaf iStick 100w under $40. MyVaporStore’s price of $36.95 is the lowest we’ve seen from US vendors.

eLeaf recommends their iJust 2 tank as the best choice for the iStick 100w. While we think the iJust 2 is a fine tank, but you’ll discover that any tank, including the Subtank, Herakles, Arctic, and the Delta 2 all performed extremely well and look just as good sitting atop the device as the iJust 2. The choice is yours.

Reviewer’s Score – For value, power, and quality we award the eLeaf iStick 100w a solid A-. If you like the iStick line you can expect the same quality and feature set, except wattage of course, with the new 100w model.
I would like to see other colors offered, but I think eLeaf might consider the iStick 100w as a limited-appeal vaporizer. Unless it turns out to be a very popular device we probably won’t see other colors any time soon. Available in Silver or black, the black is my personal choice.

What say you? Will you buy this 100w device?
