The Aspire K4 Quick Start Kit
At first glance, the Aspire K4 is simply the CF Carbon Battery from 2015, and the Aspire Cleito Tank. Being a fan of both (I still have more than a dozen original CF batteries that I’ve yet to unwrap), I considered posting a couple of photographs and linking them to last years review for the CF Battery and this year review for the Cleito Tank, and be done with it. But that’s not how we do things here, so I made the decision to put down all my other devices, mods and tanks, and set up the Aspire K4 and use it for a few days. That ‘few days’ turned into a couple of weeks (and counting). I had forgotten just how damn good it feels to use the CF battery, and how nice the Cleito vapes with its Kanthal coil heads.
The thing is, the Aspire K4 is not really a new product, it’s a repackaging. But repackaged or not, pairing these two was a good decision. The K4 is a pretty awesome vaping kit, and so incredibly easy to use.
About The Aspire K4 – $36.95 Element Vape
The Aspire K4 Quick Start Kit is a 2-part vaping instrument, made up of the hugely successful Cleito Tank and the 2000mAh carbon fiber (CF) battery made famous by Aspire just last year. A couple of minor tweaks were made to the CF battery, including a differently shaped fire button inlaid into an oval indention. This is not a vaping instrument where you need to make changes to the settings or any adjustments, it’s like a regulated mech mode, putting out a single power/voltage to a sub-ohm tank primed to perform extremely well with the batteries mech mode behavior.
The Cleito Tank carries 3.5mL of e liquid, uses 0.27-ohm Kanthal coil heads. The Cleito Tank is Aspire’s flagship atomizer now, deservedly replacing the Atlantis sub-ohm tank that had captured Vaper’s imagination a while back. The Cleito Tank features interchangeable color cuffs, a convenient top-fill top cap, dual adjustable airflow slots at the base, and “Clapton” Kanthal A1 coils inside the elongated coil heads. The Cleito coils are engineered with Clapton coil builds for enhanced flavor, along with organic cotton. The result is a rush of deep flavor and massive vapor with each drag from the Delrin drip tip. And, once the Kanthal coil is broken in the flavor and vapor get even better.
The Aspire CF 2000mAh battery features a 40Amp current, 4.2v output that drives the Cleito Tank’s 0.27-ohm coil heads just about perfectly.
A Great Vape for New and Advanced Vapers
After using box mods for the past year it felt good to hold on to a tube-shaped mod for a while. It’s lighter and easier to grasp, and although the fire button is quite a bit smaller this time around, the oval shaped indention around the small fire button makes it easy to find while not looking. With its single output, the Aspire K4 couldn’t be easier to use.
New Vapers stepping up from a mini-ecig will like the drastic improvement in vapor and flavor, while experienced Vapers will appreciate the Cleito Tank as a performance tank. The CF battery means there is no need to fiddle with settings, so the experienced Vaper can simply pick it up and go, knowing that Aspire has calibrated
the CF Battery to perform with the Cleito. When it’s time for settling back into the complex world of advanced mods all the Vaper needs to do is detach the Cleito from the simple CF battery and attach it to a complicated regulated, variable wattage box mod. What’s not to like about that?
The Aspire K4 and the Real World
For fear of being overly redundant let me just finish up by saying that while this Aspire K4 is a very affordable $36.95, and it performs like a champion in the real world. If you like what you see in the photos, or if you’ve already had the pleasure of using a CF battery or the Cleito Tank, then by all means pick up this affordable kit as either a primary set up or a fallback.
